Two things I see about his "protection" that wont make a difference.

1) The use of a patsy shooter. Its not uncommon for PTB to use people that have no real connection to them as their shooters. Hell even a hired gun would work.

2) High powered weaponry. In todays world, we have some very high powered rifles, with equally high powered scopes. What if he is shot from a distance the camera's cannot make out?

I hardly see AJ's security detail as anything but publicity for himself.

Hello,I'm a longtime member & first time poster her on ATS. I firmly believe that anyone can believe whatever they want to but the fact is that William (Bill) Cooper from the radio broadcast "The Hour of Our Time" predicted the 9-11 attacks. I personaaly believe this is why Cooper was gunned down by government officials in Nov. of 2001. Alex Jones never gave Cooper credit for this and I've personally wrote Jones online reguarding a video he posted with Rudy Giulliani stating that he had advanced knowledge of the towers collapsing. It turned out that this video was a fabrication, putting Giulliani's words out of context. I sent him the original video and asked if he was aware that this video he hosted was promoting disinfo and that if he wasn't aware of it that he could make the proper corrections. No response was ever given.
This gave me insight into his character. I started seeing all of the fearmongering and disinfo he provides to the public. I'm not on this thread to bash Alex Jones because he has truly awaken many. I simply do not take what he says to heart because if I did I would be a very angry individual and scared of the world around me. If everyone responded to the corruption and conspiracies in this world with anger it would be alot easier to take away our rights and cause martial law.
Again, respect to anyone who follows Alex Jones. Freedom is our common bond.

I don't think Alex is intentionally a disinfo agent, but since many of his sources are mainstream news (just nothing shouted out by the sources that publish them) such as the AP its possible that he's delivering the disinformation the global elite want everyone to get unintentionally...

One theory I've been coming up with is that there isn't one group of uber-rich trying to rule the world, perhaps there are dozens of competing groups seeking Global domination that work together only when major obstacles need to be surmounted, the global elite are too rich and greedy to want true unity with anyone and I'm sure each of the higher-up shadowy figures probably wants the world's throne all to themselves...

I don't think Alex is a fraud only because there is no reason to think he is, after all, what does he gain from all this? As for creating fear, sure, if that's the reaction you have toward it all, once you get passed fear anger takes over though, in some ways it feels much like the founding father's might have felt when fighting tyranny, the global elite make a mockery of the liberty and truth we stand for, and they need to be stopped...

Yep. William Cooper predicted 9-11 quite a few months before Alex did.

Also, if you read a book, called the Stargate Conspiracy, which was published in late 2000, it has an eerie line in the intro that seems to predict 9-11... lemme see if I can find it, and I'll post it in a new thread...

but the thing is that people knew way before Alex. I think he possibly takes credit for too much of other people's work. Predicting 9-11 was a good example. I'm sure there are a few others. I'm not calling him a hack, but he seems desperate to keep churning out info, and when that happens, investigative work gets shoddy, gaps are filled in with fluff, stories are flat out imagined, dubious sources are cited, and.... plagerism of other less known people's work, just enough so he can get away with it.

This is why you gotta have a good eye when looking at his stuff, because dude he's making a living off selling conspiracies... like Johnny Anonymous says in the intro to every damn ATS Mix, we should be just as suspicious about the people SELLING conspiracies... and he's not only selling conspiracies, but also health products, overpriced water filtration things, business web hosting (???), and a whole bunch of other really useless gadgets and things....

In the end, the two things that made me back away from Alex Jones was the insane advertising he basically whores himself out for (especially the ads where he's narrating.... jeez, I mean... He's got a family to feed, I guess... and some cool luxuries to have.... and a nice house and a great security system to maintain and yada yada you get my point!)
AND his support for a presidential candidate. I mean, he totally contradicted himself there. Which is it, Alex? Is the voting system and election system a fraud, or do real genuine candidates have a chance?

In the end, Ron Paul disappeared, which I'm kinda disappointed about. He was a halfway decent candidate, and it almost looked like he was gunna get ahead.... but he, along with Kucinich, was quickly wiped off the map before the primaries.

I found his support for a presidential candidate suspicious, though. I just kept wondering how much campaign money Ron Paul would use to pay off Alex to boost his name amongst disaffected citizens, of which there have been a giant number of in the past year or two... growing every day.

Obviously, Alex Jones isn't in that good with the elite. His prez hopeful is practically invisible now.

I highly doubt he's an NWO agent or something like that, but he's definitely a human who makes mistakes. I think he has mistakenly taken advantage of "the truth" in order to make money, because he's damn convincing. He could probably sell a ketchup popsickle to a woman in white gloves, if given the chance. (name that movie )
