A HUGE evacuation of Coventry city centre is underway after the discovery of an unexploded World War Two bomb.

Builders discovered the bomb at the Belgrade Plaza building site at noon today.

I know over here in blighty its not that unusual for WW2 bombs to be found. This must be one hell of a bomb though as a majority of the whole city is closed. I have 2 businesses there and at the moment am receiving calls from staff who have been evacuated and left out in the cold.

As i said its not unusual over here in the UK but its a shocking reminder i think of the battle this country was once in.

Hopefully bomb disposal team will get the job done with no injuries
