When there is a conspiracy

When someone says that the government is involved in something does that mean the congressional people that we vote for all have access to conspiracy related intelligence or know or are plotting new conspiracies.

No, it usually means that some guy with too much time on his hand and a propensity to misalign information by attributing a causal relation to correlated events has written a fun interpretation of reality and posted it somewhere for you to read.

If congressman are involved in a conspiracy, they will inevitably end up letting it out eventually, probably in a leaked memo.

but what about in the x-files the whole black ops theory, i seriously doubt they would leak a memo unless they are buying more prostitutes. but for the real juicy stuff like extraterrestrials, slavery, immigration and presidents investing in foreign military training or spy reconscience whom holds this information and how do they keep people from spying on them.

This has been mentionned before, so I won't take credit for it, but the cell structure works very well in a conspiracy. You can have thousands, even millions of people working on a project without any of them knowing what the big picture is. This is how they built the A bomb (among other things).

The other way is to have as many people as possible being in on it. If you're in on it and you want to disclose the info, you don't know where to go or who to talk to. You know that a lot of people are in on it, but you don't know specifically who. If you talk, you can get killed, so you don't take a chance.

If a secrets like those exists they exist in bodies seperate from known and established organizations. Their may be senators or representatives in the secret group, but the Congress wouldn't know anything.

It's human nature that it is impossible for us to keep a secret. It's just a matter of how long it takes for the secret to come out. Sometimes the keepers get lucky and they and everyone else involves dies before they can say anything.


I would say that the easiest place for a clandestine organization to exist would be within the Pentagons black ops programs. No congressional oversight, no one need know but the people involved.
