The Mist?

Hey guys i just finished watching mist for the second time?. I was just wondering what you all think about the movie?. Its very intresting and things like this can happen with the science we see today. Just wondering what u guys think would happen do u think religous people wil lbecome like the lady in the movie?. If so we need religion to calm its self down well not all religous people are like that just a few. Anyway the point is the movie has a nice script and awsome film about wierd creatures from another universe its amazing wondering what u guys think?. Do u rekon the goverment has triad things like this before and maybe failed?.

I enjoyed that movie.

That lady would be an accurate description of what some people would be like. Typical scaremongering folk turning people against each other. If something like this ever happens by some slim chance......I will be distancing myself from the deeply religious. No offence intended

I enjoyed very much also a fav movie at the moment.

yeh i think i would be also to tell u the truth because we know we wont look up to ppl thinking sacraficing kids is good and blood to something that aint there? see in the movie someone said lady shut up god isent here if he is a good god he would help but he dident hehe would of been an awsome line.

I Watched this on Sat and it was awesome! Cannot really believe the ending though, Kick in the Teeth or what!! Have you ever heard of Project Lotus or Looking Glass, Look up David Wilcox and Dan Burisch, not saying that they are for real but their stories are quite interesting and related in a way to the MIST.

Also do you think JJ Abrams had read the Short Story of the Mist before he made Clover Field very similar in concepts dont you think?

yeh i get ya but the ending was actualy allright showing that not everyones life ends good and thay did wreck it with the goverment fixing things its like thay showing what ever happens thay will fix it thay woulld never be able to fix that lol

The best part of the film was when that jesus freak got shot, I imagine most people would have given that bit of action a round of applause.

Yeh i watched it first @ the cinemas and like everyone was cheering and i was also and i was with my gf and she is religous i go see what religous people do bad things.

I thought the film was really good, and it did open up to what these government experiments could really lead to.

I won’t ruin the ending for anyone who hasn’t seen it, but it was a shocker, horrible ending, but good, if that makes sense?

I started cheering when the religous woman got shot it was the best part of the entire movie.

I won't watch it again just because of the ending. Worst ending ever!!!

I wouldn't be surprised if the government allready has opened up to another dimension though.

if we find a new specia maybe it could be from a hole in the universe maybe even though its to confusing but it was good yes the ending was stupid i dont like how the goverment saved it

I havn't seen the movie but I've had the 3D sound audio version since I was a little kid, and therefore know every last sentence it had from the book.

A thought that I had about it then seems ever more likely nowadays, Weather warefare. Weather manipulation...lead in with a extra dense fog/mist then followed by soldiers in whatever specific visual gear was needed.They could simply snatch people up without ever being seen.
You combine this with maybe holographics since the dense fog would be a surface to project onto, audio sound effects, or perhaps even the intracranial voice projection system for the special sounds within only your head.

All kinds of fun stuff...make people especially reluctant to venture out during such a weather anomoly with this movie in the back of their mind, after all people are easily influenced.

Just some thoughts...

u should go se the movie its very awsome gives u alot of like u wish u were in it times i would love to be in a place with a mist to see what happens to religous people if some go insane or some try to say others are evil i would start my own goverment find guns and run my own like army now thats cool

I have never been soo angry and feel like i have been robbed of an Ending the way i did with movie...But now ihave had time to sit back and realize that should i have expected anything else from Mr King..

yeyes i agree but, to show us 2 hours of him fighting and risking his life and others for medicine and gas yada yada and then to ultimatly decide that if i have no car then there is no point....

There wheren't totally safe in the car to begin with...get out and walk or crawl...fight till the end...find a hole anything just cause you ran out of gas..????C'mon see its gettin to me again Damn you Steven Damn you!!!!!!!!

Your right there is so much to do then to kill each other because gas ran out if that happens whats gona happen wene oil stops in mid east? we gona get nuclear bombed? hehe but like i think the movie was also about personal decisions and reactions and how ppl would react in situations like this?

Now to show us 2 hours of his life after he did something that retarded and living with himself and that other women that got her he kids safely throwing it in his face...now that would of been a better movie..
