I'm young. I know my generation. The boys are encouraged to treat girls like $#*% or con (or coerce) them into having sex - usually both. They are encouraged to start this game early.

The girls are encouraged to treat themselves like $#*% and use sex as a way to boost their crippled self esteem and warped egos. By the time they are developing, they have usually mastered this game and are miserable insecure creatures.

When society creates this kind of paradigm, what do we expect?

Society has kids living in some pathetic soap opera... picking up HPV is just another twist in the plot to them. They enjoy it... really. They want to feel grown up. They like the drama. 'Oo, I have a harmless STD but it's an STD all the same. My life is so on the edge. I better get medications.' *dun dun dun* And curtain.

Society is not about helping our kids or keeping them safe it's about telling them one thing then deliberately pushing them in the other direction. And they do this by turning their lives into little soap operas, tricking them into thinking they are grown up at 16 etc. Hence all the HPV noise ... they want kids to think that they are all having sex '1 in 4'. Nonsense. They just want kids to have more sex, more unplanned pregnancies, and higher suicide rates from failed relationships etc.

Just look at the media and you'll see what I've said is true. All of these things are subconsciously imprinted on us all the time.

Trying to teach a kid to abstain from sex is like trying to teach a dog or cat to abstain from sex. Its a waste of time . Sure suggest it all you want but it will not happen . You are delusional if you think it will . .


Teaching them about the diseases and the way to have sex safely will do a whole lot more . Pass out condoms where ever kids go . School "church" Social places.
The best we can do is help in prevention . You cant stop sex . Its like trying to turn the sun off .

A sociological experiment then!

My teenage daughter is a virgin and plans on staying that way until she is married.

The difference is that I took the responsibility of being a parent instead of passing it off to the government via their mandatory youth propaganda camps they call schools.

Sure, it hasn’t always been easy in this modern economy to be a one income household and take the time off work to raise my children but is has paid off, because my children have no STDs, no babies, are drug free and love the Lord.

As a side note, my wife and were raised the same way, and remain to this day STD free.

And if she doesn't The Lord will smack her with The Good Book!

This is a concern we can do somehting about in our own homes every day .

I'm calling shenanigans on this "study" if you want to even call it a study. It reads like an advertisement for the HPV vaccine.

No, I know she is.

The only boy she has ever been alone with is her 6 year old brother. She home schools, we always know where our children are and my wife or I are always home.

And just FYI, it is her choice not to date. My wife approached her about dating seeing as she is getting to that age. We were going to set up rules, like where she was not allowed to go on dates and curfews.

Her answer? "I am not ready to get married, so why start looking for a husband?"

My answer? "Good Girl, let us know if your feelings change and we can discuss dating rules. Let’s go fishing."

You see, you only have to deal with your kids becoming modern punks if you allow the schools to "raise" your children for you.

My wife and I are a parenting team; we need no babysitter or school.

Im not gonna argue , I obviously cant say i know lol . . And good parenting will do that . If your good an understanding then kids will figure out alot of this stuff on there own .

I would just like to compare this to my previous post: the males in my generation act like children. It's hard for them to be honest about their own sexual life and it's even harder for them to speak CIVILLY about others... Fortunately, my parents raised me right.

The only problem I see with it is it is sort of saying that in EVERY relationship the guy is a perverted ass who is just trying to get in a girls pants.

The way I see it, is your absolutely right.. many guys treat women like crap, true.. society says a women is an object to be used and abused. Sub-Human if you will.

however..

Women are always passing over the nice guy, to date the jerk whos going to pressure her into having sex. Whos fault? Everyones.. society for conditioning both sides that women are objects, the media and the idols like Britney and all the trash like her, and the girls for not making smarter choices about who to date/screw.

And they do love the drama.. I hate it, and I hate how they love the drama .. but thats just women. I don't think I have a single friend who has not dated a complete jack# and after sleeping with them get screwed over.

Then they wonder why.. "no he was a nice guy" .. No. He was not.

Which often I have wondered if perhaps women just love being treated like crap just as much as they love being treated like a princess.

Plenty of women out there, teenage girls as well, who want to have sex, and aggressively pursue sexual relationships. I see some pretty naive stuff being posted here. Not all teenage girls are victims. They chose who they date for a reason.

Here is a reality, 10% of the guys get 90% of the action. The reason girls date jerks is because those are the 10% of guys. He is a jerk because he did her and then moved on to the next eager girl or woman. Meanwhile, the nice guy who is doing everything in the world to get her to like him is ignored and often walked on because he isn't hot enough for her. Who is using who? While a guy will have sex with any semi-attractive female, because that is the way we are wired, girls are more picky, but that doesn't stop them from taking a whole new attitude when Mr Superstud comes into the picture. Everyone wants to be his friend because all the girls swoon over him, what a surprise he turns out to be a jerk.

Stop having such a sexist attitude, the girls are often just as guilty of bad behavior as the boys. Everyone wants to look at the girls as the poor victim, and that simply is not true. This is one of the biggest problems in this country. It is easy to be jealous and hate the guy who is getting all the action, and easy to feel sorry for the girl who cries because she was tossed aside, when all too often, she was the pursuer in the first place, and knew her the odds going into the situation.

It takes two to tango.
