We need to get Mike Singh on this. Seems that guy can find just about anything space related.

Adelaide(Australia) Time, when the object came just behind the shuttle, 7 seconds later the camera cut to mission control.
I was talking to someone over the weekend that filmed moon missions
on 8mm film. They must be on archived video by now.
A UFO incident like this will find its way on youtube.
This has been done before. UFOs might have full command of
government radio communications... except one thing... they need
laser communication due to ions surrounding the craft.
Only one bad thing about that theory, it makes bright sparks that
would interrupt laser communications.
So if you see a UFO, look for a nearby laser communications nest or
research satellites with laser communications.

Only a flag for you now.
You'll get your star in due time. Muwahahahaha.
Can't wait to see the real video in question. Anyone know anyone that works for a cable company? Maybe that guy in Canada that had all those direct
NASA feed videos knows where to get a copy.

So many people just dont seem to be reading the whole thread here, as happens a lot they read maybe 4 or 5 on page 1 then jump to the end as it was to
them at the time, then they make a comment on what we thought was the right clip at that time.
My advice would be if you cant read the whole thing then dont comment at all, because it is just throwing the thread into chaos, Now that would be
fine for some debunkers of the paid kind.
I am very interested in seeing this video also and wont let stupid fake video's or silly move along nothing to see here comments distract me from
seeing it damnit.

But are we sure that's footage of it in space? Looks like people walking around to me.

I saw it. I'm in California. I witnessed the largest UFO I've ever seen on NASA live feed this morning. It was enormous! It was pulsating but it
wasn't round. It was chevron shaped (like on a soldiers uniform) only it was longer than wide and it was standing upright and then it looked candy
cane shape. It was like a giant worm, And it was like sucking in and out as it moved toward the shuttle. It was so bright and it looked like it had
stripes of neon like light, (brighter than the rest), pulsating. The shuttle cameras focused right in on it and zoomed in. They (I think ground
control) said they had debris impacting the shuttle. But that wasn't debris!!!
Oh my God! How lucky was that? That I would be watching it at that moment. It lasted about 12 seconds or longer. I hope I wasn't the only one that
saw it. It took place sometime between 5:20AM and 6:00AM my time (pdst) I got so excited I tried to call a friend and didn't pay attention to the
time until I came to my senses and looked at the clock. There was at least one more smaller roundish one too but it was nothing compared to this.
Shortly thereafter, they went to the replay of the blastoff footage.
Wowee!
That was great! Has anyone else reported to you that they saw it? I've been checking Google Video to see if anyone captured it, but noting is there
yet. This thing was huge!
Watching the space shuttle on NASA TV from my monitor, sitting about 2 1/2 feet away from my monitor, holding up my thumb, it was as long if not
longer than the length of my thumb.

Wish we could get rid of that vid posted at start (admin please), it's got nothing to do with what the OP saw
We're looking for something around 04:54 to 05:05 into flight time with the footage showing:
What we saw the shuttle was in orbit with the earth at the top of the screen, then the ufo appeared just behind the shuttles tail section moving left
to right, it did not look like debri! It had an oval shape very bright and moving in a very straight line, we saw it for about 7 seconds from the time
it appeared than the camera cut to mission control. The main big screen in mission control was also blanked out with some sort of noise! so even the
people working there must have been suprised
Hope everyone gets it now

That's what I was trying to point out. I don't think that the first or second video are even in space. We need to look elsewhere.

Has anyone else noticed that we now have four pages of posts regarding a video that nobody has seen yet? (no offense intended to the OP)...
anyway, I did a screen capture of the object I mentioned earlier that was DEFINITELY SPACE DEBRIS (at least the best of my knowledge without
actually being there). I say this is space debris since it was small, flat, flipping end-over-end, and seemed to have originated from the payload
bay. This object was slightly larger than -- but reminiscent of -- a sheet of paper (or a flat sheet of metal).
Is THIS possibly what the OP saw??
You can see the object to the left of the tail in this photo. Sorry I don't have video because you can definitely tell by watching the video that
it's debris by the way it is moving. This is part of the video replay of the launch that NASA TV replayed several times today:

I think your point is made now and you've had your fun. The OP was after help trying to find a recording of the incident. It's pretty rude to start
calling hoax when all we have is scraps of footage around.
Does anyone know of a place that records this footage separate to NASA?

There was no video posted by the OP -- He (or she) is hoping someone has video.
The only videos shown were two by Karlhingus, and one was an uneventful launch video, and the other showed a speeded-up look at the post-launch site
with a helicopter flying overhead.

I just joined today because I needed to tell somebody that wouldn't think I was nuts. I did a google search for UFO NASA with todays date to see if
anyone else had seen it or if there was a video capture of it. And I'm still looking.

I didnt see this posted yet
www.space.com...
Commanded by veteran spaceflyer Dominic Gorie, the astronauts will use a laser sensor-tipped extension of their shuttle's robotic arm to scour
the orbiter's surface for signs of damage from fuel tank debris that may have fallen free as the spacecraft launched spaceward from NASA's Kennedy
Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Fla., today at 2:28:14 a.m. EDT (0628:14 GMT).
Seems like they are blaming it on fuel tank debris, I could be wrong though.
