But hybrid and fully electric cars rely in part on water. Specifically, the power plants that produce the electricity typically use water primarily to cool down the systems.

Such water consumption might be especially of concern in the United States "in the Southwest and Southeast and the West, where water resources are definitely strained," said researcher Michael Webber, a mechanical engineer at the University of Texas at Austin.

This has got to be the craziest thing ive ever read.

Are they kidding me?!

Water doesnt disapear. And I cant imagine electric hybrid cars using a lot of water. That diont make sense.

Imo, they are starting to dig at the bottom of the barrell, alternate energy can not be stopped.

Thats what they get for jacking up the gas prices, now electric cars and solar panels will be in high demand, hooray.

Me and a partner are curently trying to buy a new solar panel.
We live in south florida and are planning to face the power company head on with a new company installing solar panels.
