Can you imagine for a moment, that was 1943 withb all that took place miitarily, were people that involved in what the Gov. was up to. Also if the events in Question were real can you imagine where we are technologically now. Beam me up Scotty!!

I recently found a 8-part video documentary about the 'Montauk' project, aka "The Philadelphia Experiment".

The video shows some guys talking about the systems used, apparently explaining how, where and when. IMHO, it did'nt seem extremely convincing to me.. But if you are interested you can get it all, on the ED2K network. Search for "Philadelphia Experiment", and "Montauk Project"

You know, the story sounded very beleivable with the smoke haze and maybe even some how getting the ship to disappear, but I cant quite beleive that they got it to teleport. But then again, who knows what kind of technology the government has access to right now that we dont know about.
Cheers

The Philadelphia Project. Truth or Myth? I say Myth!

Sorry folks, but I think this is one of those old wise tales! Back when we worked on the B-2 Research Project, we put the Philadelphia Project under a microscope to see if it could provide us any clues to the historty of secret stealth research. Six different people, including me conducted independent reviews of this project and then compared notes. We all came to the conclusion that there is NO evidence that anyone ever made a ship disappear. We know that the navy did test degaussing as a way to avoid magnetic mines. However, as we say in America: The Rest of the Story is as Phony as a Three Dollar Bill!

Any chance you'd have a link to the reviews/notes you made? Or maybe you wouldn't mind posting the results? Those would be really interesting, specially as there's apparently so much ambiguity about this subject to begin with!

I though we had the proof in the Archives! However, I can't seem to locate the analysis data on the Philidelphia Project. Out of respesct for ATS and it mission of finding the truth, I will withdraw my claim that I have proof that it is fake. Sorry everyone for getting people's hopes up. Next time, I'll make sure I have all my data in hand before I claim I have proof! I honestly thought I had the data in hand.

Sory again!

Tim

I do research for the government. I will keep the details to myself, thank you.

Not sure what government you claim to do research for, but here is some info right from a U.S. military website:

www.history.navy.mil...

Although it doesn't shed much light on the story, it is interesting that they've included it on a Navy site...

The Philadelphia Project. Truth or Myth?

I was about to say this a repeat thread, as happens a lot without penalty.
But, i have been doing study of the experiment and can only find alive a Mr Bielock who says he was there and the facts as Bielock puts-it is quite shocking.

Other players were apparently:

- Von Braun
- Tesla
- Einstein (did I spell that right?) in his theory before the experiment
- Bielock (alive 2005)

Mauntock has nothing to do with the experiment. Afterward Mauntock became a place a face for high energy electro magnetic experiments. And Rhode Island hid it all below ground after P.E.

Ya know, i have been researching this and it says that some went crazy, some were fused to the hull, and some had nothing happen to them, except a bad time. I believe my grandpa may have been near and/or on that ship. You see, while he was serving, he tookpart in a top secret project, but after he was finished, the government had him brainwashed so that he would not remember. He still does not remeber what he did or what happened during this project ( he doesn't even know what the project was called) but he says that nearly every night since about 20 or so years after he was brainwashed, he has had terrible nightmares. He only remebers parts of the the dream, but he says that in the parts he remembers that he is on a ship, and men are screaming and in terrible pain. He too believes that he was on that ship.
