The only "sin" there that might have some logical validity to it is not to damage our environment. Being greener is really not such a bad idea at a time like this.

Unfortunately, the rest is a bunch of fluff. The idea of sins are humorous to any rationalist. However, I will say that it is definitely one of the most effective methods I've seen for making people feel guilty about themselves.

Oh dear, unlike his predecessors, he forgot to use the excuse of "god told me so".

Lets face it, man wrote the bible anyways.

The idea that people place more trust in the original writers of the bible who they've never met, rather than modern religious figures who they actually can meet just adds to my reasoning for dis-belief.


Maybe there is a god, maybe there isn't, but those books and papers you hold in your hands are the word of man. Nothing more.

In a couple of hundred years time, I'm sure there will be people forgetting how this new list of sins was created, instead arguing that "god himself" wrote them.
... and the cycle perpetuates.

I did not know the Ten Commandments had amendments. I will have to talk to God about this one. I'll get back to you.

well i think they could start by cleaning up paediphilia and giving all their money to the poor, and when they've done that, maybe then they can lecture everyone else..

because the way things are, if most of those priests are going to heaven (which they aren't), im heading in the other direction, thanks..



oh and did i mention promoting women's rights?? if men and women are equal before god, what happened to the female priest-esses...i should say..?
