The Liberty City 7 were seven black men entrapped by the FBI in an apparent attempt to attach a black face to the threat of domestic terrorism. These seven men were homeless, unemployed or barely employed. Pressured by economic hardship, the Liberty City 7 decided to take advantage of what appeared to be an opportunity to put food on their families’ tables.
