A middle school from Meriden, Connecticut sent 40 students on a field trip to a mosque in New
Haven Connecticut so they could learn more about the Religion of Muslims. In other
news,Christian ministers are banned from schools.
"The mosque's spiritual leader, Dawood Yasin, spoke to the students about the five pillars of Islam: testifying to God's oneness; praying five
times a day; charity; fasting during the holy month of Ramadan; and making at least one pilgrimage to Mecca."
Islam is one of the fastest growing religions in the United States. This should not come as a suprise when we send our children to mosques to learn
more about Islam, but tell those who practice Christianity that it has to be kept seperate from school.
