I've sent an email to the OP outlining my experience and desire to help with the project. I hope to be 'picked' to help. I also look forward to
seeing this book at it's completion whether I get picked or not. As a n00b to the board (when can I stop being a newb? is it a month? two months?) I
am excited by the news of a book and I hope that I can help.

i have lots and lots of time, i'd be willing to do w/e to help
i've had 2 U2U's about this so ya'll need people still
but U2U me if you still need help, i am more than willing
i have friends who have published their works in magazines, so i don't have first hand experience but i'd be able to ask a few people for help if
needed
but i do have 3-4 hours each day to give (if not more)
good luck with the book

I'd be glad to help, but reading through posts here on ATS, some of these members, really know their stuff, I doubt I would know where to start in
doing the needed research, but if given a push in the right direction, I have the time.

Not very specific.
What do you have in mind?
What's in it for me?
Sort of feels like a fishing expedition?

I realize this is not the best thread to ask this, but I am not sure it's worth its own thread.
Is there any way we can pre-order the book?
I am sure many of us are anxious to give something back to ATS.

SO I don't have the time or experience that you are looking for. but I would buy the book today if I could I became a member sometime in
11/07. I remember what brought me to ATS. You can have my real name because I have nothing to hide. I came to ATS to learn and that I have.
Thank you ATS.

We will be selling the book directly to our members and only our members (hopefully saving a couple bucks off the cover price will get some lurkers to
join our community ) at a little bit better price than Borders or Barnes and Noble will offer when it's published. No reason to "pre- order"
we'll have plenty.
The book will hit the shelves (and our site) in September or October, 2008. It's amazing how few binders there are in the world that print all the
books, the lead times are unreal. In order to get the book out by September we have to have the complete, approved (by us) text and images to the
editor for editing and page layout by April 01.
Thanks for the interest and we do hope our members and visitors will buy the book, I've read it and it's simply fabulous! Jim Marrs' best work yet
IMHO.

Would autographed copies be involved?

Wow, takes longer to get it in print that to write it.
Will we be getting 'snippets' before October, perhaps?

Thanks for the update. I guarantee you at least one sale here! I'm a great fan of Jim (Alien Agenda, Rule for Secrecy) and I'm looking forward to
reading some of his latest work.
Needless to say, I'm a big fan of ATS as well and I believe teaming up with Jim to launch your publishing department is a great idea!
Sorry again for posting here, looking forward to the official announcement thread. (perhaps a peek at the table of contents?)

April 01? Ok I am jealous! You have already read it and yet no snippets for a few of your friends here?
Please give us a little preview , get us pumped up and we will digg it!
So looking forward to the release.

Hey Springer...
I had a dream last night about an ATS book...
I was on the site and able to click on a link that said,
"Hardcover Member Logs"
...and for 29.95...
...I could purchase a custom print log of any member's OP's and posts from thier first day, through the date of my purchase....
The book read in chronological order with reference to thread title and date. Plain text with embedded hypertext spelled out; no printed pictures.
Some members even had multiple volumes for sale.
90 day processing time, proceeds benefited both the author and the site; or strictly the site at the authors call. Members could opt-out, if they so
choose, from being on the print list. It all ran through a printing warehouse that took digital orders. Members only could order and there was a
plan to implement a cheaper paper back.
I'd buy Loam's encyclopaedia.... volume 1-10 and you'd have the equivalent to a doctorate in environmental science.
I am,
Sri Oracle
