It seems every election in Zimbabwe is the same. The Government doesn't even try to hide the fact that they are rigging this thing!!! When will the
rest of the world take notice and do something about this? I guess Zimabawe doesn't have any oil to exploit anyways......

i spent a few years in zimbabwe when i was a kid,i remember it as a vibrant, wonderfuly placid and joyful country.i remember a black waiter at a
restauant we befriended taking me to his shanty town to meet his family and friends, i remember becoming best friends with our maids children and the
numerous meals i had with them by thier hut(literally a hut) albiet basic and gruelish.
i remember my fathers childhood house still being maintained by the same gardener and guard he had as a child, 50 years later,i believe there still
alive in thier 90's now.so many awesome memories i have,i even remember driving round the bounds of mugabes presedential palace and seeing the brute
in his courtage of limo's!
its all gone, the entire nation is destroyed in a decade,it citizens now have the shortest lifespan in the world,it has the highest inflation rate in
the world, around 100 000%(i jest not!),ou literally need a wheel barrow of money to buy the cheapest food.and there is no food, the nation that once
gave food away to the less fortunate is running empty, for all the farmers had the land take away from them disguised as resettlment when it was
nothing but plunder and pillage.and aids. ....it is at a far higher rate than youl even imagine was possible, they are dropping like flies.
and guess what?,i had a huge dispute with a flamboyant know it all teacher several years ago who believed all change was good because establishment is
always wrong, and because mugabe was change to white colonial establishment anything he did was good, what a fool!!!,what an absolute fool!,damn id
like to meet him again now!!

I have been to Zimabawe several times over the past decade and seen first hand the rapid decline of everything over there. It just baffles me how this
atrocity never even gets a mention in the mainstream media. It seems everyone just turns a blind eye to all the wrong-doing over there... just sad
really!!

i know,i dont know what on earth is going on with the media, wait i do,its all about entertainment, news itself has became nothing but a ratings based
revenue earner.people dont want to hear about africa, its old news to them.
the criteria for broadcasting news should be how important that news is to humanity, thats what its all about, spreading important information
throughout the world.yet the masses have been dumbed down to the point they couldnt give a hoot about the important issues, they care only about self
satisifaction and news which directly affects them,ie local news.

I couldn't agree more...it disgusts me that people like Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan even factor in the news let alone top story and front page!!
You literally have to search the newspaper thoroughly to even find 15 words written on Zimbabwe and other African nations. People need to boycott
those stupid celebrity magazines.. maybe then the media will focus on something more important!!
