Think about this one:

From my perspective, the American Civil War did not actually start in 1860 with the first rifle shot, but about 10 years earlier with heated congressional debates over states rights. Therefore, if Titor said that a civil war would start in 2004 or 2005 (heated political debates), perhaps the first shots will be fired in 2014 or 2015.

You're completely wrong. There was a major civil rights obstacle threatening the 2008 olympic games by influencing countries to boycott it. I didn't even know who Barack Obama was 8 years ago. It's easy to see why Obama is compared with Lincoln. Both men are tall and slim, politicians from Illinois, remarkably intelligent and able to give a wise and careful reply to a loaded question. There is also something about the shape of Obama’s head that is reminiscent of Lincoln. Our new president is considered to already have laid the foundation for breakthrough for all African-Americans in the United States while you may know that Lincoln also did a favor for African-Americans by releasing millions of them from bondage.
My take on this all is that any "new civil war" against our corrupt conspiracies and secrecy involved government would be ignited by an "outsider" as president. We haven't had a true "outsider" in over 20 years.

I agree with 2004-2008 really being 2008-2012. Here's why and we'll only have to wait until January 6th to find out who the President of the US is going to be. Why? Because the electoral college votes don't vote until December 13th, 2008. Then on January 6th, 2009 is when the results are given. Bush won 2000 due to some electorates "flipping" their votes at the last minute. There are 538 electorate votes who "pledge" to vote one way or the other but DO NOT have to if they want to. If Obama doesn't get the electoral college votes then you have "the civil war stems from a problem with the elections" right at your doorstep. It also means that McCain and Palin will step foot into the Whitehouse later in January. The other reason could be the whole birth certificate thing with Obama yielding the same results.

Now for why I am in agreement with the original poster. If you were John Titor and really from the future in which the US government is to blame for the billions of deaths and the life you had to live and because you are from 2036 then you know exactly what tactics and technologies the governement uses to accuire data/threats. You would know that if you spelled out the entire timeline from A-Z then the government would quickly realize that you are from the future and they could easily change things for their benefit.

In other words, the 2008 Olympics will be the last ones and the He/She will be McCain and Palin. If there is no He/She in the White in January then we can all safely throw out the John Titor thing once and for all. He got too many things right up until 2005 to be a hoax in my opinion but again I'll have to give it up if no He/She walks into the Whitehouse in January.

I totally don't buy into any of the John Titor stuff at all... it's too far out there even for me. HOWEVER, this reply is the most intelligent and best laid out replies that are "pro titor" as it were. Kudos to you Anonymous Poster, you proved that not all Titor followers are complete brainwashed morons.

I still disagree with the whole skewed timeline idea and everything Titor said, however at least you posed your argument very well and articulate.

Anyone catch the "Titor family lawyer" on C2C the other night? The best proof that this man is not what he claimed to be is in his own words. He explained a method of time travel that completely destroys the part of his story explaining why he went back in time.
