Remember only you the ATS Members can make sure that this election is the most awesome it can be. Also only you the ATS Presidential Candidates can make sure that we the ATS members are excited for you. Get out there and start campaigning. Let us know what you can do for this website!

I would love to be able to yank by the collar everyone to Abovepolitics.com but I can't it's up to you all to look into it for yourselves. This is your election people. No one else is going to do it for you. If you want this election to happen get excited about it and make it happen get proud of your board your user content helped make this site as great as it is today!

Good effort, man. What I don't understand is why is there the need for AP elections at all when Majic, one of our longstanding members, was plucked from the fray and sent over there to manage the place, seeing as he demonstrated the most ability on this site for endless rhetoric?? (politics)... I thought he WAS the AP president?

AP might need a hero, but ATS already has more than I care to count. I wish you'd stop saying "ATS" president. I think Simon Gray probably already has that distinction, and rightly so, with Bill and Mark not lagging very far behind.

Yes ATS has many many outstanding members you included. however this is for a special type of position. It will be from what I understand the official AP Pundit for the site. The President and Vice President will have their own forum and be the only ones that can start new threads within that forum (all members can reply) But it is an important position cause they will be the official political pundits for this site.

A special title indeed. They also will be able to get revenue through their own ad sense ads on the forum so in a sense it is a paid job. I want to bring awareness to this election cause I believe in it. I believe in what Skeptic Overlord has put forth for this. I think it's a great idea and I think that we members need to get together and back our candidates.

I watched from the sidelines for too long only to see that the election loose interest and the candidates drop out like flies. I hated seeing that because there were some bright minds running for that position. Some strong voices running. It is partially the candidates fault too because they did not press the issue as much as they should but we the members also need to heed the call and support our fellow members in this election.

SimonGray is the site owner allong with Skeptic Overlord and Springer. They together are the three amigos. I called it the ATS president when it was the ATS president of the United States. I think no matter what you call the position it is a relevant position and an important one and one that deserves the members attention.

This is the ATS Elections. SkepticOverlord started this thing last year and it has been going ever sense then. AP needs some good attention brought to it. You have a lot of good information and knowledge to bring to AP too.

I was trying to say get involved get out there, let these candidates know that someone is trying to listen to them. They have worked hard on their candidacies and I think they deserve our involvement as well.
