I'm back from the UFO Conference....

Well I arrived back in the UK yesterday and had a wonderful time at the UFO International Congress.

I met some wonderful people there including Russell Targ (from the Stanford Research Institute) who conducted the now famous remote viewing projects with the CIA. I also met pop star Robbie Williams who attended part of the event! He apparently told one of the conference attendees that he regularly listens to my radio show Now THAT'S Weird!

Also amongst the guests was Don Burrisch who claims to have met time travellers from the future whilst working on the Majestic 12 project inside Area 51.

I spent a long time chatting with Larry Warren who was with USAF security at the time of the alleged Rendlesham UFO landing, and confirmed that he was one of the first on the scene and witnessed the landing. He confirmed that the UFO did land and that the lighthouse story was a cover-up!

Another guy I met and chatted to there was Drew Strom (hope I have the spelling right) who claims to be one of the crew of the USS Eldridge, the ship involved in the Philadelphia Experiment, who is working on a book that he says will PROVE what happened and that he was there. He looked around 40 yet claims to be over 90!

It was an amazing event with some fantastic speakers, and they asked me to become UK Director of the conference, which I accepted immediately - what an honour!

As for my own talk, it went down very well and apparently the DVD of my presentation sold out in minutes and they had to run a load more off! More will be available to buy on their website in due course at www.ufocongress.com...

There is little doubt that this is one of the biggest conferences of its kind in the world, with seven days of speakers, dinners, awards nights, meet the speaker events etc filling out the evenings, and if you have never been, you should put it in your diaries for next year!

It sounds like a great conference, Nomad. Glad you enjoyed it. I wish I could have been there too. Maybe one day I'll go.

But when I do I might travel by sea. A mate of mine was at that conference and when he went home he got de-bagged by customs at Las Vegas airport! I think they didn't like the idea that someone had been to Las Vegas and not put on a bet! He drove up to the Groom Lake road while he was there. I'd like to do that just for the dare of it! But it's not something that should be taken lightly. There are many stories that people have vanished in that area.

The answer to the first two questions is: I don't know and doubt that anyone really does.

The answer to the second question is... whew! A big subject! There could be several reasons and most, if not all, of them are for the benefit the PTB (Powers-That-Be), not the rest of us. The PTB might fear the impact of the revolutionary situation of everyone discovering that we're not alone in the universe. Would we go on paying our taxes, going to church and fighting wars with eachother if we knew for sure that we were not alone?

Also the aliens are bound to be more techically and scientifically advanced than us. They'd probably be able to give us Free Energy technology; and that means we'd be free from fossil fuels. That would be wonderful for us, but for the PTB it would be a catastrophe. Fossil fuels are not only the world's most luctrative industry, they're the glue that binds the current world order together and the apron strings that make us dependant on them. And they're trapped now because this cover-up has been in place for 60 or 70 years, maybe longer. If they reveal it now they'll have to admit that they could have revealed it straight away at the time; and all the environmental destruction and pollution, all the oil wars, all the old people who freeze to death in the winter because they can't aford to heat their homes, all the poverty and deprivation in the Third World that has happened since then; it's all been for nothing! It was all preventable! Would we ever trust them again? It's a rhetorical question!

It's also possible that the PTB have a treaty with the aliens that they're keeping to themselves for political, diplomatic and military reasons. The film "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" is reputed to be based on a real event, including the climactic meeting with the aliens at the end.
