I'll be the first to say that I absolutely agree with you on this. However, here is the thing...
We have been told that there are in fact several people running in this race, but up until yesterday it was only me and Bodrul that I could see. Both
of us were doing what we could and answering questions posted by the one other member on this entire site who seemed to care about the
elections.
Now, having said that, what is the point in trying to do anything more. Could I schedule a debate between Bodrul and I? Sure I could, but why do that
when it would turn out to be nothing more than a private screening for xpert? Why should I continue to try to reach out to someone other than the four
or five people who frequent PTS when it seems the majority of the ATS population could care less?
Don't get me wrong about this, I'm going to keep running and I will continue to try and become the ATS President. I'm just not sure how much could
be accomplished when only about 1% of the ATS membership even knows we are trying to elect one.

Dangit I want to see this election go to fruition. I know it's a hard road but if your going to do something important it's up to you to convince us the ATS members that it is important to you.
The mods, super mods, and admin of this site have quite the hand full to deal with on a day to day basis. They have a rough job already. If you are going to be the ATS president you are saying you want to be a leader. I am calling for those that said this that wanted to be the ATS president to be that leader.
remember this logo? Make it mean something. Be the ATS leader you want to see. The mods aren't going to hold your hand through this election. They have other duties to preform. You, if your a candidate for the election have the duty to campaign. Debate each other and make this an important issue to everyone of the members on this board.
Make this exciting again. I read through all the candidates I quit speeches and I say NO! Just cause you don't think that this is getting enough attention or is moving in the direction that you think it should go, that is good enough reason for you to quit? Heck no. If it isnt getting enough attention that is because you the candidates are doing something wrong. Don't think that just cause you declared your candidacy that is all you have to do! Get involved! Be the leader you think we need! I don't want to elect someone for ATS president because they are the last person left! I don't want a moderator hand held election. Heck no!
Get out there make this exciting again. Like it was in the beginning! Poll the electorate. Get involved with what your campaign promises were. Tell us the ATS membership what you will do when you get elected. Not what you would do if you were president of the united states but what you will do as president of this board!
The candidates for the United States Presidency aren't sitting around waiting for some debate moderator to guide them to the next debate they are out there polling the electorate, making speeches and in general getting into the face of everyone they want to vote for them. You should too.
Get excited! Get going people! Make those threads, make a stand, and make a difference!

The dead horse has finally been been left to die . I have seen some of the highest
quality discussions on AP go unnoticed by the wider community. But hey when it comes to denying ignorance the mission counts far more then recognition

The number of flags a thread gets is depended more the nature of the topic rather then the quality of the discussion. That is why UFO threads and so on will always have more flags then top notch political debate.
