One of my good friends has been complaining about having strange repetitive dreams. they worry me a bit due to the overlapping content. She is convinced their some kind of psychic message, I don't know though.

I had her write up the summery of the worst one she had:

I think the worst dream I ever had was the one where everyone vanished. Its one of those dream's within a dream. I had a normal dream then I woke up and was walking around my house, but no one was around, I tried calling my parents on my cellphone but the line was dead. the power was out too. I looked around for something that would work but nothing would, radios, TV, everything was out. I got dressed and walked outside, eventually I got my bike and rode into town. There were no cars, no one. all the power was out and everyone had just vanished. Then I noticed the clouds. The sky was filled with these bright white columns of cloud, like vertical contrails. There were flashes off in the distance and flickers of lightning in the normal clouds. There was this bright flash out at sea (I live on the coast) and then this incredible wind barrels down the street and knocks me down. When it passes a mushroom cloud is forming in the distance. I looked back down the road and there is this woman standing there pointing at me. Then flies came out of her mouth and she just kind of dissolved into this cloud of bugs. They swarmed over and were biting me and stinging me.
I woke up with red welts all over my skin. I think it was a week before I was able to sleep again.

She says people go missing in her dreams a lot, and that there is always this sense of despair and foreboding. She told me that she's had bugs attack her in her dreams before too, and has woken up with red marks more then once. but they fade within seconds of her waking up so she's not sure if their actually real or just an afterimage from the dream. I'm concerned though.

Well, the "vertical contrails" that she speaks of can be seen regularly in nuclear bomb blasts. With that, along with what else is being said by her, I can only assume that she's seeing the results of a nuclear war. I doubt that anything like that will happen, but it could.

To be totally honest though, I think she worries about world affairs a little too much.

I have learned how to interpret my dreams to an extent!
A dream to me consist of what a person has witnessed, felt, heard, thought about, or even spoke about...etc, within a period of time all put together as one, which would make a definate strange dream!

Has your friend seen something on tv that could have triggered this nightmare?

Usually, if you cant put your thoughts together to interpret these dreams,
than you should be cautious of them!

When I cant explain why I had drempt something...I always make sure I let someone know about it, and have had several that give off a Déjà vu persona, and came true!
