Cop Killed Because Florida Won't Extradite

Florida is under scrutiny because of their lack of going to pick up prisoners that are held in other states.Florida was notified by Ohio authorities that they had captured a man whom Florida had put in the national database with warrants. Florida had told Ohio that it was too far to go. Authorities decline to extradite in 60% of the cases.

Here in Florida, as well as other states, police and prosecutors have to pay for the extradition. The U.S. Marshals Service will fly fugitives for a fee.

I would say there needs to be some form of interstate transportation that costs the taxpayers no more than the gas and man hours to transport.

If that does not work you could always drag people like this behind the car until you reach the destination or they are no longer there whichever comes first. At that point the costs would go no further than the length of highway they are stretching across.
