this may not be to everyones liking, but in the next few months i could be starting the long, and very difficult journey of changing sex. my problem is that i need a new job, one that is better paid, with better hours and better conditions. my problem is that i'm not sure how to approach this with prospective employers. i spoke to a friend who helps people deal with life, and he has suggested that i try forums. if anyone has any suggestions i would like to hear them.

I don't think you should have any problems regarding transgender/work situations.
Isn't this covered in the sexual discriminations act?
I suppose it depends where you live.
In the UK a good place to try would be the citizens advice bureau.

Best of luck. It must have been a difficult choice.

thank you. it was a difficult choice and i feel myself in a state of nervous excitment. however, i think my real question is this; do i fore warn them on an application/cv, or do i just turn up for the interview in womans clothes?

all advice is welcome and i will contact the CAB, but it would be good to hear from someone with either personal experience, or with friends or family in a similar situation.
