Gray makes a lot of sense to me. Go with the tried and true.

why would you need ground camo on an airplane?? that just doesnt make sence.

yeah i dont understnad why they jsut dont paint them blue...

For DaRAGE and masterofpuppets, camoflage has to
be thought about more. In the Air Warfare environment,
everything you do to conceal yourself is important.
If the top of your craft matches the color of the terrain
below you, those above you are disadvantaged. The
same reasoning is used for painting the bottom of
your craft a sky blue. And the secondary purpose of
camo is to break up your visual outline into something
the human brain has trouble resolving via pattern
recognition.
