reported on another `pilots rumor` forum , a Dragonair / Cathay B747F came down last night hard at manchester airport , 3 engines (3+4 then 1) and both wings hit the ground!

Hmm searched bbc and nothings came up so its gonna be a rumor. It would be on the bbc and nz news. Would be one hell of a problem though.

i can`t post the link because its another forum but straight from there:


Incorrect, 1, 2 & 4 hit, no 1 & 2 nose cowls and fan cowls damaged but repairable. These will be removed and sent for repair (2 week turnaround).
No 4 C ducts damaged, to be replaced, no 4 nose and fan cowls damaged, repairable I think, no4 engine to be replaced as a precaution due some damage to gearbox, (engine will be overhauled).


aircraft is sitting at MAN and will be there for at least 6 weeks

aircraft identified as B-KAG

thats is NOT the aircraft in question- -but a normal landing but nose first (which can be clearly seen)
