Black Boxes in american cars and SUVs since 1997

Was anyone aware of this?

I was not even aware of it. It says that these boxes will help drivers to remain good with their driving habits knowing that it is recording driving behaviour. We already have laws for the keeping of good driving behaviour, it's not like we need a personal black box when we go driving.

Pretty soon governments will begin utilizing subdermal chips to gather "intelligence".

there are so many usefull things out there but the govt will use them for what they were not meant for..that seems to be what the govt does...sorta makes you wonder what else is out there that they haven't told us about.......................

Yeah I read that they enter this data in court cases. One claim for insurance was thrown out due to data recorded in the black box when the insurance company argued that the claimant was lying about an accident.
