everyone that uses msn
warning do not accept this

it will be sent by one of your contacts on msn saying it looks like you

and do not run this file PIC006.JPG-live.messenger
it will take over your msn and then send its self to your contacts and then spreading from there

Yeah, I had what I thought was a friend online send it to me. The message said it was a pic that looked like me. I clicked on it and it took control of my messenger.

Yet another reason to make sure you have a good anti-virus, and spyware

I got an email earlier that looks like it is from PayPal telling me to verify my information and stuff, even the link appears to be a PayPal link. But when I mouse over it, I see what the real link is. You can't be too careful on here.

Heh, I remember when I had my first MSN virus way back when. It was one of the reasons that I went into college for Computer Science. Stopping those little buggers would be a lot of fun, or so I thought.

When I saw what went into making anything on a computer, I quickly realized how awe-inspiring some of these people can be. Not to say that I support them, because I can't stand 'em, but there's a level of appreciation there that I must recognize.

firstly BLOCK it from accessing any application

if you have a anti virus or firewall block it.
go to list of applications and find what software you allow and disallow and BLOCK it

this will mean it cant access the net or anything

then Delete it ASAP

I did it the hard way....... un-install messenger and re-installed it. Takes longer, than what bodrul said, but it worked.
