LAS VEGAS (AP) — A substance found at a motel may be the deadly toxin ricin, but authorities said Friday they don't believe it was intended for a terrorist attack. Lab tests on the substance were pending and seven people were taken to hospitals as a precaution.

Here is the new anthrax scare. I wonder what this might turn out to be. And how did this package end up in the hotel? Ricin is a very deadly toxin that could cause major major damage. I also wonder how the sender got it as there are no legal means unless you are in research. Hopefully all is contained.
Also an interesting note that the National guard was sent to the scene. For not believeing it was for terrorism purposes, they sure went above and beyond. Better safe than sorry I guess, right?
