Hi guys,
I have tried to reply to some posts today and the "reply to..." info does not show in my post.
Is this just me or is there an issue I am not aware of?
I only write this as it is frustrating when trying to address a particular person without wanting to quote them...not wanting to over quote and all...
Please help
ta
Ant

For some reason, if there's an apostrophe at the end of the page ID in the URL the reply doesn't work.

Simply delete the apostrophe from the end of the url and reply will work

For instance, this page is:
http ://www. abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread338129/pg1
if there was a ' after pg1, the reply function wouldn't work - it would look like this:
http ://www. abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread338129/pg1'

so when you see it, just delete the apostrophe and hey presto.

I had the problem, someone told me the fix, so I'm glad to pass it on and help

Geez, the apostrophe sign really gives a lot of problems, huh? I noticed that it also messes up U2U subject headlines.

Hey, that happens to me all the time and it's greeat to know the answer, thanks budski

Now can someone tell me why my edits rarely if ever work, this is the most frustrating problem I have come across so invariably result in an additional post to put things right.

well thanks guys, but it's not my solution - it was a mod who told me.

I'll remember the thread soon and give them their deserved thanks - and hopefully, you can also pass on the advice about the apostraphies to all.

Dissemination of information is the key.
