It has pledged to spend billions of dollars on boosting its defence industry, especially the air force.

Interesting times in Russia, Whilst most western countries are about to enter a resection which will no doubt lead to a tightening of the financial purse string's Russia is currently awash wish cash from it's oil and gas sales and is spending it on it's military and equipment. Will this lead to the next arm's race and cold war?
