I read this article on a book that came out in 1999 about G. Dubya Bush. ("Fortunate Son: George W. Bush and the Making of an American President")
In his book Texas author J.H. Hatfield claims that Dubya was arrested for cocaine possession in '72 and that he had his record expunged by a judge
who owed Poppy Bush a favor. It also notes that Dubya did community service at a minority youth center in Houston.
The allegations are hardly surprising, or unrealistic. He could've very well been arrested for that. If true, his being taken off of flight status
for not completing his flight physical would make total sense. And remember, Dubya refused to even answer questions pertaining to drug use when he was
running for pres.
