Although there was no science when the Bible was written, people of Jesus' time still thought the Earth was flat, now we are learning more and more about how vast the Universe is, even though not mentioned in the Bible...but Christians will contort to now contend that it's all for god's pleasure?

Acually there was science in the times in which the bible was written. Look a the astrology in Greece. Many ancient people knew that the Earth was round just by looking at the stars. So your rambling means nothing.

Dear Howie, which part of my question did you not understand? You said 'God's Children'...but I pointed out that the Universe is vast, almost beyond Human comprehension.

Actually it was first scribed I believe in ancient hebrew or aramaic and then translated into greek.
but it isn't my holy book so I dunno.
