Czechs To Back US Missile Defence Plan

The Czechs are a step closer to allowing a controversial US missile defence radar be built within their borders - despite Russian opposition to the plans.

US President George W Bush is meeting Czech Prime Minster Mirek Topolanek in Washington to finalise an agreement on the radar scheme.
