I can see how if one thinks The Clintons and Obama is are antichrists than it would be kind of easy to see Mabus as one too. However I have a feeling that Mabus is not the evil tyrant kind with the likes of saddam, or osama.....in fact I think Mabus is what is keeping things from unraveling into chaos.

Nowhere in the quatrains does nostradamus articulates that Mabus is the antichrist. Just says that after he dies "A horrible undoing of people and animals".

Guess we have to wait and see what happens when he dies...

if you write the word mabus on a piece of paper then hold it to a mirror it seems to read sadam.
I think Saddam Husien spelled his name with 2 d's however, I find this mirroe image very interesting.

I agree with the fact that Mabus might not be the antichrist. Considering once he dies everything unravels but also this line: "At once one will see vengeance"
Does it mean we will see an uprising seeking vengeance for his death? Or does it mean that only one individual will seek vengeance. Perhaps this individual seeking vengeance is the true antichrist.

By playing around with the letters of the mirror image of 'MABUS', I came up with SUBAM. Further I get SUB-AM or SUB ammo (or 'subsonic ammunition').

So maybe this prophetic 'MABUS' is not a person (Ray Mabus) but in actuality a low frequency military weapon or SONAR. You know, the kind of equipment used by the Navy that allegedly harms marine creatures.

I did a quick, general search online and found a recent weblink dated in February 2008 to a news article about the dangers of sonar killing whales, dolphins and fish: Protecting Whales from Dangerous Sonar.

A little off subject..but another thing that bothers me...

The mentioning of animals seems of important significance...it makes me wonder about the reasons so many animals are affected....

It's kind of scary...it leans in the direction of a large enough disaster to affect so many animals and not just humans...

That is a really good point shadow. Not sure what MN meant with that line....especially when he says, "at once"...

If he means an one individual...somebody that works close with him (maybe even Obama)....in the political/business arena... that could definitely be the case.

And if he means an uprising...that indicates a type attack/disaster which includes that line "a horrible undoing of people and animals"...

Isn't there some other stuff about the guy having a blue turban and coming out of the Middle East or something like that? Let's not forget that part. I mean, if you're going to say that one part of the prophecy works and the other parts don't then you're picking and choosing, which invalidates it all. It all has to work, or none of it does.

Im not saying this is PROOF of ANYTHING I just think it is really interesting.

I had no idea a real person with the name of Mabus was involved in poli-tricks and thats more amazing to me than the mirror image thing.


PikyPiky above...has a really insightful idea there. She is thinking out of the 'person' box and I like her train of thought as it makes perfect sense in the 'horrible undoing of life' ect.........what if sonar is what is the problem with the missing bee's????

I was surpised that Obama beat Hillary for the democratic nomination...Here he is, someone who really came from nowhere (3 years in the senate and no legislation under his name is all he has), is a smooth talker (king of lies?), and it just seems like all is ready for the antichrist ... the internet, cell phones, 24 hour news programs, so people see instantly what happens anywhere in the world, we're running out of space due to overcrowding, global warming is slowly killing the planet, infectious diseases are becoming immune to our antibiotics, supposedly a comet is due to come very close to the earth in 2012, the mayans and the chinese ming and others all point to 2012 as the end, obama has a cult like following where he can blow his nose and people applaud, if obama is the antichrist, its the perfect fit. african americans are alot more loyal to their own than if the democrat nominee were white, and mabus, mentioned in a nostradamus prediction 500 years ago, is now known as raymond mabus, who is going to have a position when obama wins in november. 20 years ago all this seemed like a fairy tale...the mark of the beast? i used to laugh about people putting a mark on their hands to buy and sell instead of using cash or credit cards, now it seems like it could just be a few years away thanks to advancing by the second technology. i am voting for obama because i do want to speed up the return of christ. and i do think he is the antichrist. lets embrace it, as christians...go antichrist! go obama!

If Mabas is the anti chist it would make sense. Cause the anti christ is suppose to appear, at first, as the good guy. Remember not to judge a book by the cover... it could look like a good book but be really rotten inside.

nuclear blast with fallout would do that imo. as for as mabus could be obama just like hitler was hister but thats just an idea. as for as this guy from mississippi being the antichrist i thought everyone was suppose to follow the antichrist and worship him, so i am not sure he fits that description.

I remember as a child watching a program on Nostradamus with my dad and they were talking about this particular segment he wrote. That is the first thing my dad caught as well..... what you just mentioned and it has stuck in my head like glue ever since. You are the only other person to have noticed the same thing that he did, that I know of anyway.

Naustradamus said the AntiChrist will have "A golden tounge of treachury". He also said that the AC would not be a native of the country to which he is seeking power. The AC will also rise quickly through the poltical process by jumping through political loopholes.

Who is jumping through loopholes and is a blatent liar with a Golden tounge? Who has yet failed to show proof to the State Dept. of an authentic paper Certificate of Birth showing he is native to the US by being a natural born citizen?

What's Mabus sexual orientation? Only the AC could inflict the damage spoke of following Mabus death.
