Dean to STOP CAMPAINING! Stay on ballot.

He's going to announce something a bit strange according to journalists' rumours...

He's NOT dropping out, but he's also going to stop campaigning... sort of an option three approach to the will he or won't he question.

Again, this is just speculation and Dean may not make any official announcement in just these words, but any assurance to stay in the race without funds, or a campaign schedule or a campaign manager (as his left) indicates the bold new "option three" approach to ending your campaign NOT in a blaze of glory, but with a whimper.

It's been leaked that Dean WILL stop campaigning but stay on the ballot as an opposition vote.

The lack of campaiging though certainly signals the end.

This is kind of like endorsing Edwards as the man to vote for if you want your anti-Kerry vote to count, or Dean if you want to make an anti-war statement.

I suspect OPTION three is a move to stop short of officially endorsing Edwards while still helping him, but still allow Dean to make a Kerry endorsement if Kerry wins.
