Actually yes but it takes much practice. FUNNY YOU MENTION DREAMING have you ever woke up inside your dream. If you have this is Astral Projection without you knowing it. Do you fly in your dreams this is astral projection. Althought it is different because your not knowing your projecting so its not the same. Its different only slightly when you do it while in meditation cause you know where your coming from you can leave and look down at yourself. and goto your friends house and talk to him while hes sleeping.

Hmmm. Pure Buddhism says all the stuff like images etc that you see are distractions (i.e. include 'astral projsction' in this.) You may as well watch TV. Just focus on your breath. IMO the reason real budist meditation is so hard to do is that it is so incredibly boring.

It's plagiarized, embellished, and twisted. The whole Bible is. It was written by primitive goat herders trying to create a society where they would be in charge. Jesus is just one of many "Sun Gods" to arise throughout history. Watch Zeitgeist-even with some inaccuracies due to mis-translation of ancient Egyptian texts, the info on Jesus and what he and his life/death/resurrection represent is pretty accurate.

Most of the things happening now have happened already at one point or another. There are hundreds of quakes every year. Brushfire wars. Terrorist attacks. Crime. None of it portends the "End Times".

Spirituality? Sure, I think there's something to it. But some of the descriptions here sound like acid trips to me. That one where the poster emailed his ex sounds like a bad attempt to get her back.

Repeatedly people have asked for evidence, specific information, anything that backs up the extroardinary claims. Repeatedly they are met with "Do your own research" and "Open your mind". Remember, when a person makes an extroardinary claim, the onus is on THAT PERSON ALONE to provide evidence to back it up.

So what's it going to be? Religious claptrap and apocalyptic fear-mongering, or facts? And don't give me the "Elite Cover-Up" answer-of-the-day, either. If the "Elite" really scare you so much do something about them, and maybe none of the apocalypse you fear will come to pass.

Why do you believe the predictions of a race of barbarians who used to rip peoples hearts out and sacrifice to a fictitious sun god?

The Earth was many times over, destoyed! Ancient Sumarians, and the Aztec's/Mayan's recorded in their historical records, that Earth was ravished by " The Destroyer". Now,It is coming again, and it is has many names: The Destroyer, Nibiru, Planet X, and the Dark Angel of Death. NASA calls it, a Brown Star. Which is a failed star, i.e. failed to ignite.
The South Pole telescope was built and activated with the mission too see if anything is really out there. The answer is yes! It is barely visible,but, it is out there, and is heading our way! It; being a massive celestial object, much larger than our sun, and it is moving at an incredible rate.

This isn't Science Fiction people. It has happened before, and it is going too happen again. Look at two ways. You are lucky enough to wittness some thing that hasn't happened for over 11,500 years, or you are unlucky enough, that you very well may be able to kiss your own ass goodbye. Oh!, NO we can't just blow "X" out of the sky! This thing is so big, it is like our Sun being a ping pong ball next to a Giant Beach ball..

Christian, Anti Christian agenda's, is that your response to those who test your faith, how about people just dont fall for the illusion because they are smarter and stronger than you, they have a different and positive outlook on life who dont fill their heads with religious bull crap and wishing for the end of the World.

The whole issue of the bible written how many centuries after Jesus's death and we have no difinative proof this person was who you claim him to be. Just stories and interpretations that have changed over time to suit the religeous agenda of the day.

The author of this thread has made the statement that 2012 is a reality, that 75% of us are going to die, where are the proofs or facts, there are none just some ones religeous views on totally unconnected stories who add them all up and deliver it as proof of what will happen.

Its pure bunkum and all it has acheived is to draw out the religeous types when the subject matter could have been properly and logically dioscussed, that has not happend therefore the authors agenda was to go on a religeous crusade about the end of the world and only the choosen few will make it to the other side.

If you want respect from other posters you have to come up with a better argument than nothing other than a blind religeous belief of events to come. Its a tired story that we have heard so many times before and its come to nothing.

But we do have some facts, we know we are living on a terra forming Planet that goes through continuous change. We know that our Sun effects all life on this Planet, we know that the Planet has been and will continue to be hit by bollides of various sizes some of which have removed 99% of all life. We know that we are in the arm of a massive spiral galaxy and that affects our Planet. We know all these things and maybe more.

But what many are proposing here is that there is an all seeing God that will bring about change, well there is not in my view and as stated before physical change comes about irrespective of any God or Gods. And if there was a God he or she must be a pretty sick and callous God to allow so much suffering to be inflicted on his children. The deaths of millions torture of men women and children through the millenia, sounds more like the Devil is running the show.

UFO, well stated, you and I talk of the real World that we live in not some fantasy realm that so many others wish to lose themselves in.

God didn't bring the suffering onto his people. We did. we corrupted ourselves. We act like children whose parents are not at home. Noone wants to take responsibility for anything anymore. If your kids shoots someone in school, it can't have anything to do with the parents,,, oh no. It must be society's fault, or he has some sort of syndrome or illness. When people choose to be homosexual ( yes I said choose ), oh I was born this way I can't help it. There always seems to be an excuse, especially from people on sites like this. Blaming things on aliens, syndromes, conspiracies and such. Start taking blame for the things you do and stop trying to write them off onto someone or something else. It is a mix between the three. the parents influence him, Society Influences him, and then he makes the decision to blow away innocent people. He made the wrong Decision indeed, but what made him come to that decision is the real Problem.

There is always a group or person jumping up and down trying impose their belief system on others and when they don't respond positively to the person preaching, they get attacked by that group or person.

A classic example of why most religions are flawed, they preach goodness, love, compassion just as long as it conforms to their particular belief, if it doesn't they are sinners, evil, gentiles, infidels, non-christians, unholy, not baptized, etc....whatever label they can find to make the others outcasts.
