Hello friends,

I thought I would try to get alittle thread going pertaining to airshows for this year, 2008. There are so many sites out there that have dates and locations, but they seem to be pretty hit and miss.
What I am trying to generate here is an airshow information thread...of any kind I suppose, but I really mean shows that will be having demonstrations and static displays of military aircraft. Of course the Blues and the TBirds will be at most big events, but please include whether they are going to be there or not.

Personally I am located in Texas at the moment, so let me know of any Texas airshows if you know of them. This is not meant to be a U.S. airshow thread only, but it's my personal interest....so, let your airshow data fly!!!!!!

Peace, Mondo

THE air show this year is in Quebec City, Canada.

For the 400th anniversary of the city, they have put together an amazing and historical show. For the first time ever, both the Thunderbirds and the Blue Angels will be at the same show at the same time. Furthermore, the UK's Red Arrows and the French Patrouille de France will be there also. Of course, the Canadian Snowbirds will be there too. The show is from June 13 to 15.

Quebec City is a cheap 1 hour flight from New-York, and a drivable 7 hour drive from Boston.

No Way! I hadn't heard that QC was doing a airshow for the event. I may just have to look into spending the weekend there and enjoying the show! You live in the area Nets?

Some of the local Airshows I attend:

www.warplane.com...

www.wingsnwheels.ca...

www.cias.org...

www.airshowottawa.com...

www.wingsandwheelsniagara.org...

www.wwflightcentre.com...
(usally hosts a fly in/expo)

If anyone is ever interested in comin up to Ontario for any of these shows I'd be more then happy to drive and show you around. Not as sure about a place to stay for free because me and my wife still need to buy a house or upgrade to at least a 2 bedroom in the next year but hey I'd be a great guide lol.

HawgSmoke 2008

Hopefully the gunnery range will be open to the public.

Oh, I have been to a zillion air shows. And the best, by far, IMO is the one at Andrews AFB (Maryland). I went to that 15yrs in a row.
