The bodies of at least seven children may be buried at a former care home in what police fear is one of the worst instances of child abuse in Britain.
The remains of a skeleton were discovered on Saturday under the concrete floor of Haut de la Garenne in Jersey.

Institutionilized children. Institutionilized abuse.
How something like this can occur over such a long period of time without someone raising the alarm is beyond me.
Surely someone that worked there, a local resident, one of the children who survived the abuse, a cousellor would have known that something was going on.
Its sickening that kids that had already had a tough start in life ended up in a place like this.
Only five minutes alone with the perpetrators of this would make me feel better than i do at the moment.

Yep, you see the same story comming back over and over again.
Sometimes i think there is something weird going on about this subject.

Like you say, how can it go on for that long with ot beeing found out.

A conspiracy of silence, not just from the perps but from the abused as well.
The scumbags know that the abuse they dish out shames the children into silence.
It sickens me everytime i see a story like this.
I wonder if humans will ever have the moral and ethical maturity to be more than grubby little apes on a ball of dirt.

And the worst part is, if convicted, they sit in prison...they get segregated from the normal inmates for THEIR protection. They recieve better health care then most working people, they get free food, heat, ac, tv, movies, library, etc etc etc.....and 7 young children who were defensless get what?????


Why this stuff occurs over and over and over is there is NO fear of getting caught. NONE! They either go to prison and get the above, or best case they see a shrink, play a role that they were abused, and they are disturbed and then they get a ward instead of prison..and in some cases...they get set FREE....

Breaking news....police investigating the former Jersey care home at the centre of abuse allegations, have found a bone which is believed to belong to a former child from the home.

Police in Jersey investigating the discovery of human remains at a former children's home have found what they think is a bone.

Sky News crime correspondent Martin Brunt said: "It looks at first sight to be the bone of something small and the obvious implication is that this is the bone of a child."

Officers gained access to one of two cellar rooms under the Haut de la Garene Youth Hostel on Wednesday.

The building is at the centre of a major child abuse investigation involving more than 160 victims and 40 suspects going back to the 1960s.

Victims have claimed the underground rooms were used to abuse children during the period, and on Saturday a child's skull was discovered at the site.

This has the potential to become even more horrific than orginal thought. The police are bringing in a second cadavre dog today, one that can trace microscopic traces of human blood.

At least there are more and more ex pupils coming forwards to make statements about the abuse they suffered.

Hopefully we'll see ex staff members do the same and help police identify those who carried out these atrocious acts.

Im starting to think that because it's gone on for so long that maybe it's a *high profile paedophile ring* as in maybe very rich or very powerful people on the island - i.e judges police force members (high up) etc. etc..?.

just my 33 pence worth...but i smell a conspricay here.

My heart bleeds when i hear stories like this these poor little mites who haven't had a fair start from the get go then have to be subjected to these filthy discusting pieces of scum.

I hear what your saying, unfortunately it's too late for those kids buried in the grounds.

I too wouldnt be surprised if it were an organised sytematic abuse by a group of pedophiles. There have been other instances of abuse uncovered at some of the other children's homes in Britain.

I agree with you on that....the rich always buy their way out of justice. Hollywood proves that point over and over and over. And the crime doesn't matter, as long as they have enough green to please those involved.

Time for a return of the death sentence i think!

This stuff is happening right now, we are complaining about it while kids are being beaten an worse.... this needs to stop somehow...

Could'nt agree more!

I'm probably one of the most mild mannered people out there, but if someone touched my two girls.....all i'd ask is for 5 minutes in the scums cell.

Would be a much cheaper option than the death sentence i promise you.

Sad thing is, knowing our justice sytstem, if anyone gets caught for thier involvement in this, they'll probably get a slap on the wrist and told they can't work with kids for 5 years!

There are a lot of CT's out there that cases like this are not isolated at all. That there actually is a global conspiracy at the highest levels of ritual child abuse. Once in a while something "goes wrong" and we end up hearing about it. This is a deep-dark hole, that I have not peered very far into, but there seems to be more attention being drawn to it lately.

I even heard some more lately on the theory of Disney being involved in this sort of thing, and that people like Britney Spears crack up because of the abuse they suffered once being "indoctrinated" through the Mickey Mouse club or whatever it's called.

I had seen some of the "oddities" in Disney art before, but now believe it is far more serious than I once thought.

Specialist military teams are being brought in to search for remains at the Jersey care home now.

A police spokesman said there are about six members of the military squad, who could not be filmed or photographed due to the highly sensitive nature of the equipment they were using.

The spokesman said: "The military squad will start work today helping with the inquiry.

They will use their specialist radar to help with the excavation."

Also, could there be a connection between the deaths in the other links and the Jersey care home scandal? As I’ve heard that Neil Munro was investigating the yachting community, following claims that children from Jersey care homes were being loaned out to wealthy yachtsmen. Three police deaths within 4 days? Also, Richard Fuller was a member of the security team looking after Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. Perhaps it’s something that could be looked into. I think the alleged cover-ups concerning care homes in Ireland, North Wales, Islington and Jersey might well be connected.
