A quake with magnitude of 7.2 on the Richter scale struck the Indonesian island of Sumatra on Monday morning, prompting the authorities to issue tsunami alert.

You have proof they are increasing how?

Well this is the 2nd large quake in Sumatra today, The first this morning was a 7.6

That caused wide spread panic so this is going to make the islanders very nervous,

Nobody was hurt in this mornings quake and fingers crossed that this one will also go by with no harm done,

You do have to fear that something is shaking and i sadly dont think its going to get any easyer,

yes I understand quakes are going to happen, but it doesnt sound like a big thing in those areas you list untill u look where they normaly are STILL hittin.... thats the kicker to there being more.

You do have to remember that Indonsia is on a major quake line, So quakes are pretty normal there., Its just the ones that tend not to be that deep that can really cause the problems,

And it the reason why both the quakes today perked up peoples ears a little,

I wasnt too concerned over the indo quakes, but that it was these quakes as well as alot of not so occuring ones, just seems alot more active.

those were only 5+ quakes I listed, there are those lil ones like u said that are just alot to list, an would be better viewing the USGS site but i get these emailed to me all the quakes an i hear a sound whenever a 5+ comes up, ive been hearing alot more noise lately u can say lol.
