20th or 21st Century. Bush isn't in the same league as Stalin. Now HE was a tyrant!!

Chavez is junior varsity.

I've heard some pretty stupid things in my thirty-two years on this planet, but the notion that George W. Bush belongs in this list but Fidel Castro doesn't ranks among the top three.

Just so you know people, as soon as you get out of High School or College it is OK to flush your brain out of all the crapola they've been feeding you, go out to the real world, and get acquainted with real life. They brainwashed you.

Yes, you've been had...

How about Fulgencio Batista? He was an awful person who killed many innocent people.

And why in the world is Fidel up there... he isn't even close to these other people. Comparing them in the first place is ridiculous.

Don't forget Talaat Pasha, or the Young Turks, who were in charge of Turkey 1915 (Armenian Genocide).

Also remember many of the dictators who ruled Argentina during the Military Regime of the 70's, those were real bad guys.

I would place Lenin ,somewhere near the top. Stalin was his student, after all. A little "better" then the teacher , but not that much.

I'll agree with that. To cite specifics, I'd like to borrow if I may from Agree2Disagree's post:

61,911,000 Murdered: The Soviet Gulag State
35,236,000 Murdered: The Communist Chinese Ant Hill
20,946,000 Murdered: The Nazi Genocide State
10,214,000 Murdered: The Depraved Nationalist Regime
5,964,000 Murdered: Japan's Savage Military
2,035,000 Murdered: The Khmer Rouge Hell State
1,883,000 Murdered: Turkey's Genocidal Purges
1,670,000 Murdered: The Vietnamese War State
1,585,000 Murdered: Poland's Ethnic Cleansing
1,503,000 Murdered: The Pakistani Cutthroat State
1,072,000 Murdered: Tito's Slaughterhouse

Suspected Murders
1,663,000 Murdered? Orwellian North Korea
1,417,000 Murdered? Barbarous Mexico
1,066,000 Murdered? Feudal Russia

Stalin himself is responsible for about 43million deaths.

I would move Mao to the top as the numbers of dead are likely way to low and because of the residual effects on China.

We will never know how many Mao killed inside the vacuum of China's borders, or how many deaths were directly caused by the fallout from his evil. There must have been many millions not even attributed to him.

1. Mao Tse Tung of the People's Republic of China
2. Joseph Stalin of the Soviet Union
3. Adolf Hitler of Germany
4. Kim Sung Il of North Korea
5. Enver Hoxa of Albania
6. Anastasio Somoza of Nicarauga
7. Francisco Franco of Spain
8. Pol Pot of Cambodia
9. Nicolae Ceausescu of Romania
10. Benito Mussolini of Italy

Chairman Mao is responsible for 40 to 80 million deaths. People can't get the numbers straight but I tell you what.... for the 21st century I think:

Obama (US)
Bush (US)
Amademajad (Iran)

Top three.

Yeah. And Harry Reid. Barney Frank. And every other senator or congressman breaking the constitution. I think that only leaves Ron Paul as the only honest politician in Washington right now.
