im pretty sure its real... just covered up by the government you use to be able to find it in Google sky but as soon as the story got "big" they cropped it out its in the video also there were a few more pics never just that one and now days the sites are down or the pics aren't there anymore kinda strange don't u think? the person who said they "faked" it was probably paid to say that or scared them

Well you see, the problem with that is the fact that something that big, you can't really hide from, nor can somebody hide it from you.

If it was real there would be far more evidence for it's existence in comparison to the mountain of evidence that it doesn't exist. Namely the lack of anybody with the right equipment, which I am sure there are many, being able to look up and see it.

And as far as I know, everything about Niburu that I have read, has pointed to it being clearly visible in the sky last year at some point...

This is just Y2K all over again.

Your video doesn't seem to work. In any case you shouldn't be using Google sky as a primary source of sky survey images. It's a secondary source, google didn't take those images themselves, they just stitched together pre-existing sky surveys and the end result has gaps and errors that are resolved by examining the original sources of the images. It's simply inappropriate to conclude that anything is being hidden based on the absence of an area of sky from google sky. In fact, real astronomers, both amateur and professional, tend to tune out when we hear people making claims based on "Google Sky" or "Microsoft World Wide Telescope" or "Wikisky" images. It's a dead giveaway that the person making the claim isn't a serious researcher. Here are some links from which you can get various sky surveys' data (the same data used by google sky) directly:

Actually it fits perfectly with the fact that the South Pole Telescope is not an infrared telescope, yet the "leaked" photos were said to be infrared photos from the SPT.

GOOGLE SKY Do you know what Google Sky is its just a huge database of pictures collected from various sources round the world stiched togerther to form a virtual sky yes VIRTUAL, its not a telescope, its not real time but it gives many of us on here a real good when people use it as a point of reference.

If this object did exist, which it DOESN'T hundreds of amature astronomers would have reported it.

Cant wait for end of 2012 when we can all look at the daft threads on here and the net and have a good old at what was claimed.

Whether its fake or not we will all find the truth out in a few short months now. A subject like this is so huge many would rather call it a hoax or fakes because their feeble minds cannot comprehend whats to come. Then there is also alot of disinformation being done by our governments(its one of the few things they are good at) so with all the theories spilling around out there, makes it hard to believe.

Hey you guys try not to fight and argue so much so this isn`t shut down like similar threads. If this # is real we need to stay informed. Then if Jan 2013 rolls around and nothing happens we can all get into my stash and have a good laugh.

This was posted in 2008. It is now 2011. It has definitely been "a couple of years." Even someone with a "feeble mind" can see that this was a [HOAX]! Comprehend?

all of you realize the south pole telescope is a radio telescope and doesn't take pictures right you do realize that

i say NO ONE ON HERE actually knows what is going on, how do you know that the die offs don't happen all the time our sun is in a solar maximum and the next two years it will be at its strongest how do you know that it is not our sun causing this but it could be a brown dwarf cmon now use your head

Well NO ONE would include you would it not? I love new ATS members that try to play this card. I never said that I know anything more than anyone else. How do you know that is not an incoming "celestial body" that's causing all the earth changes? Its not like the ancient people like I dunno say the Sumerians, Mayans, Hopi ever talked about that scenario happening in the past....or did they? If you don't know your own history, your doomed to REPEAT it!
