Elmo Doll Issues Death Threat

A pre-schoolers favorite cuddle buddy Elmo begins chanting "Kill James" after his mother replaces the toy's batteries.

Fisher Price apparently didn't think it was a big deal and only agreed to replace the doll after contacted by the media...

Is this the case of a simple malfunction or has Elmo finally become self-aware? Could it be a case of demonic possession? Do you know where your Elmo is right now...?

I always wondered about that elmo character... he's just too happy. Probably a serial killer in real life. you know how those types are. The ones no one ever suspects.
