Hmm, well my friend I can tell you the informed and ready are alive and well here in Louisiana. I love my Civics teacher at my school, he often goes on rants about the NAU and the Trans Texas Corridor. He's explained to all the classes the lies of the media, and how we should always be watchful of our government.

I posted a Word document on our schools share drive asking "If U.S, or other, military burst into your house with guns and told you that you needed to come with them for the safety of the country, would you go quietly?"

I got an overwhelming response of "Hell no"

Some people may seem to not care, but they do. Take me for example. When I'm not here I'm disscussing movies with my friends. I love playing Xbox 360, I love watching movies because I hope to be a director some day, I eagerly look forward to The Oscars this Sunday, and I like to go out and have fun and forget about all this. But I still am very passionate about my country, and I still stay informed.

You can balance both.

Ah will do my friend.

And I wouldn't recommend it either. Even though we are fighting the power we should follow our laws still. But it is a mighty fine idea. It'd be great to see the reaction it gets.

Hmm, well it's a bit hard to say. Since this even would be so earth shattering for us all, I would imagine his approval rate would drop to the single digits. Maybe even negatives eh? Hehe.

I also just wrote my Senator on this issue. Hopefully they help out. I'll continue to write in until I get an answer.

My friend, what people say and what people do are 2 very different things.

A revolution requires sacrifice. In my neck of the woods I am positive relatively few people would be willing to risk their lives for the good of the nation. I myself am not to excited about the idea of spilling my blood for an unappreciative nation of selfish middle class a*holes.

Is there hope for this country? I don't think so. Perhaps I just need to get out of California and acquire a new change in perspective.

Well I really don't like the idea of this either. I want to become a film director, and live out my dream. But so far I've had a really great life, so I have a debt to my country I feel.

And sure only time can tell, and when it gets down to it, people will show their true colors. I just have hope most of those colors will be red white and blue.

And perhaps you do. I've never been to California before, but I'd imagine it's not the best place to draw on such a perspective.

I can tell you, my part of the woods is SO much different, and it's a good thing.

A revolution will not happened.
A revolution HAS to have a leader, all revolution that has ever happened has always had a leader.
Our Goverment will take that leader out.
If Ron Paul was close to winning the elections This Goverment would take him out.
Ron Paul is a threat to Corporation America.
Its a shame, I would love to see Ron Paul as President but its not going to happend.
You all know why, the election are rigged and have been for years nothing new here.
President Bush did not win the last election He is not my Pesident he was not voted in as president by the We The People.
It was a stolen election a rigged election.
The min the Gov smells a revolution MARSHAL LAW will go in effect.

It'd be great though wouldn't it? I'd just love to see that on the media.

There are so many other things we can do as well. Things that stand out so much more then violence would.

People should start thinking outside of the box when it comes to protesting. Instead of the usual shouting with signs.

Ron Paul isn't the only one out there man. Sure you need power and you need the money. But I can tell countless true stories of people who rose up as leaders and did great things.

And indeed if a violent, chaotic revolution happens we will have martial law. But we don't need to be violent in order ot revolution.

Organization and communication is the key man. If I had the means I'd make my best attempt to unify us. The internet is a great tool, we should be useing it instead of this constant "MARTIAL LAW!" shouting on Youtube videos and such.

I'm glad tos ee renewed discussion of this topic. It's been a favorite of mine for a long time. Recent Presidential directives have demonstrated that our government does not have our best interests in mind. We may be driven to revolt, whether we want to or not.

We should not be surprised to find our civic militia groups under attack by the mainstream media within the next two years. As the economy declines, they'll be more and more tempted to disarm us.

please don't forget that the 'real coup d'état happened when kennedy was assassinated. everything after that was planned so well in advance that you are seeing their final actions being put in place now. 'they' were always in control.

See I guess it's just different view points my friend. Because everyday I see people all around me awake, and they are pissed. I see people everyday cry Revolution. And I'm not talking just about the internet, I'm talking people in my school, my neighborhoods, my city. People are fed up, and they are ready.

I would offer that there is a very large difference in people being pissed and people taking action based off of that anger. Let's remember that the front-running political candidates are McCain, Obama, and Clinton. If people were TRULY pissed across this nation in numbers large enough to matter, you wouldn't be seeing these three people leading the political charge.

As I see it, there will be three basic types of people in a scenario such as this: 1) Those who comply due to fear or trust of the government, 2) Those who grab their pea-shooters and try to take on the massive weapons of the U.S. Military, and 3) Those who adopt a first response evasive action.

I believe that those who adopt an evasive action will be the ones most likely to survive. This country is a huge land mass and our governmental resources are limited. The majority of those resources will be used to contain group 1 and to fight group 2. This provides Group 3 time to evade, regroup together, find aid from other sources, and then provide a concerted effort at over-throwing such an oppressive situation.

I see it playing out very much like a "Red Dawn" situation where small groups disrupt supply lines, sniper attacks, etc. I also see that if such a thing ever does occur, that it will create a situation that lasts for decades as the government tries to locate all of the evaders one a group by group basis.

I'm not so sure that something will happen before Bush leaves office. I think it'll all depend on how the election process continues. If he is replaced with either McCain or Clinton, I don't think they'll have much of a pressing need to accomplish this under Bush's term.

We'll just have to see how this all plays out and keep the survival packs at the ready.
