There was a plot by some KKK/business people in St. Louis who were responsible for offering $50,000 for someone to kill MLK. And the FBI never adequately the Raoul character with whom James Earl Ray had been involved with or where Ray had gotten the passport he used to get over to the UK and Europe. They, the FBI, rushed the investigation in order to help put a patsy in jail. Thjere are lots of other loose ends that were never tied up. either.
