The astronomers estimated about one percent of the star's mass was ultimately consumed, or accreted, by the black hole. This small amount is consistent with predictions that the momentum and energy of the accretion process will cause most of the destroyed star's gas to be flung away from the black hole.




it seems that only a tiny amount is actually consumed,did you get to read the article,the link seemed to work fine a minute ago.

the problem with these theories is that u really cant prove them with experiements, but try different theories out until it explains things. the 11 dimensions successfully explains some of the freaky activities of the universe. it is simpler than some of the others (doughnut universe), so, by occam's razor, its good. as to the 27, its theorized. it can never be more than a theory, but mathematically it works. it cud, however, just work.

speed of light. its a constant.
