In this book that was removed from the bible God flead the earth.
he is flesh and bone just like us or we are just like him.
he can clone himself to live forever.

The Book of the Wars of the Lord: We can read about this book in (Bible) Numbers 21:14.

Hypothetically speaking – If GOD is an alien then who created GOD? And so on, and so on, and so on, …

Before any one can confirm or deny the OP question there needs to be some definitions:

God- creator of man
Alien- life from another planet

Any person who reads and believes the words of the bible by default believes
that God is an Alien. So for any "good christian" to hoot and holler about the assertion that God must be an alien would only serve to demonstrate their own inabilty to reason.

For those out there that believe God created the earth, the plants, the animal. and everything on the planet while simultaneously being FROM that planet is absurd.

The Bible itself and all who believe in its teachings must accept the simple fact that the creator of the earth and man must be from some planet other than Earth.

Hence, if you believe in the Bible and that God created the Earth, you believe.... GOD IS AN ALIEN

This has been my thinking for quite some time. Finaly someone agrees with me.

Your not the only two.... But I do believe that 'god' in the bible was a series of people. Yaweh for example (the 'god' of the old testiment) is clearly a different person with a different temperment than the 'god' of the new testement.

God is not an alien, He is God. The Lord is a spiritual and physical all powerful being. To be an alien(which I believe in) would make God less than perfect. If you read Sitchin or follow some of the theories out there, aliens have some hidden agenda...mine gold, be dinner, etc. All God asks is to love Him and serve Him by doing such old fashioned iggnorant things like love your parents, help and love your neighbor, give and forgive, be compassionate, non judgemental, generous, nonselfish, gentle, etc.

I respect your opinion, however consider this idea...that the God of the Old Testament is the same God of the New Testament. The Bible is a history of man's relationship with God and through time that relationship has matured.
Consider how the relationship and understanding of our earthly father changes. We see him differently at 16 than when we were 6. At 6, he is the disciplinarian, and through the years that image matures and fills out so that by 16, our father has a richer and broader depth. As our relationship grows we build a bond with feelings and emotions. Even at 26, we start to dee the frailties of our fathers.
Likewise, God is the same always, it is our relationship and understanding of God that changed from the Old to the New testaments.

Many times the genocide He orchestrated was against the Nephilium of Genesis 6, the mixed hybrids of the fallen angels and man. These existed before and after the flood of Noah. Also, it was committed against those that did not follow and love Him. Through their corruption, pride, defiance, and sin they suffered the wrath and consequences of their decisions. Again, all God asks is submission and love.

This is exactly the message aliens tell abductees...
...they say they are the god's that 'sowed' us on the earth...
...and are here to help with that ongoing process.

This Alien Hypothesis has been the subject of sci-fi for over fifty years...
...it is part of the deception that would deceive even 'the elect' if it were possible.

If you swallow this story, one thing is sure...
...you are not one of the 'elect'.

Personally, I think all of the Gods we read about were ET beings. How easy would it have been to be a god in those days, when mankind was but an infant, and had not the eyes of modern man? To come down in your craft, and to play with them. To build mighty structures to live in while here on Earth. To cause mankind to fight each other, and to divide them with religion and race. These "Gods," a I use that word loosely, owes us a big explanation of mistakes they have made, and of things they did to us that were not kosher.

One theory I have had on the differences between the "God" in the Old Testament and the New Testament is that they were/are two totally different books written by two different alien species in an attempt to to "orchestrate' our existence for whatever reason. Of course this is just a personal theory, but I do like these "God=Alien" discussions.

The average bible is a collection of 66 different manuscripts written by 44 different authors...
...none of the authors were God.

Each person that wrote the documents reflected on their own experience of God and His acts in their history...
...although sometime they were shown future events as comforts or warning.

This collection of manuscripts have a common thread through them...
...even though they were written over a 3500 year timespan.

The God these men described in the Old Testament documents is the same God described by the men who wrote those contained in the New Testament...
...and if you allow for the different languages, cultures and idioms they were familiar with you will see they are all saying the same thing about the same being.

In World War 2 an American fighter pilot crash-landed in the Brazilian rainforest where he was discovered by an isolated tribe of natives. Impressed by his technical gadgetry and his descent from the sky, these primitive people elevated him to the status of a god and created a religion around him. Today, the “proof” of their religion consists of a series of artifacts hanging from tree branches, including items such as a broken plane engine, an empty cigarette lighter and a rusting pocketknife.

Could Christianity be the product of a similar misinterpretation? I don't see why not.

Listen up alien believers...You all must understand this, if aliens are so above everything as you guys believe, so intelligent, so advanced in their technology, spirtuality, and now they may even be a God to us as some think they may have cloned, or flat out created our genetics and designed us, than tell me this..Why would they zip around in our skys for supposably thousands if not millions of years influencing such books as the bible, buildings of the ancients and everything else, with not 1 real piece of evidence to support that they were here?...Why would they care about our goverments, our fellow man seeing them?..All the technology, all the wonders they can do, and yet we hear people say; look how well they cut those rocks, look how big they made those rock pyramids..Heres one for you, why not a great pyramid made out of solid crystal, or gold, or something like an object found with out of this world design, metallic structure that doesn't exist on earth..Theres nothing!

Don't any of you find it strange that an alien race that has all this wisdom, all the technology wouldn't just land somewhere, anywhere and get out and pet us on the head?..I mean after all thats how low we would be to them, just pets right?..Do we care if ants love each other, and can build huge ant beds, nope, why would they care about us, especially if they had a hand in creating us, we would be like dolly the sheep to them, putting something on a pedastal and worshipping it before you know for sure is what has cost us billions of innocent lifes, its called religion..No real proof of anyones God, but yet people are willing to die for it, and kill for it, and spend their whole lifes in a cave, in celebacy for something there is not 1 shred of real proof of. Is this where we are headed with a so called alien?...Wake up, realize what you say and think, and than realize that believing in Santa was great when you was little, but as you matured and become educated you realized..what was I thinking, I knew he couldn't deliver toys to every kid in the world over night..just silly wasn't it, now realize the truth about your aliens..silly isn't it!

G'day Mr skepticc

I have 2 questions for your consideration:

1. What compells you to spend time on ATS?

2. Why don't you like answering questions? (e.g. the 2 questions that I recently asked you).

Kind regards
Maybe...maybe not

Question #1... I am interested in a certain subject that brings me here, a subject that I never comment on, but pay attention to very closely.

Question #2.. I don't pay attention as much as I should, but I will try to find what question you ask me and answer it, hows that.

G'day again Mr skepticc

Thank you for your answers

Regarding question 1:

I am intrigued by your answer, but I won't intrude with further questions about that.

Regarding question 2:

I asked you a couple of times if there were any UFO cases at all that made you "scratch your head" even just a tiny bit.......?

I am generally viewed as being on the sceptical "side of the fence" around here, yet there a just a small number of cases that keep me thinking.

Thanks again for answering.

Kind regards
Maybe...maybe not.

Of course. You don't seriously believe that Noahs ark actually had room for 2 of every kind of animal on the earth?

Noahs ark carried a freezer with genetic samples of every plant, animal and microbe encountered on the earth as part of the early settlement.

So why doesn't the bible say that? The bible was written for simple folk without any understanding of science and technology. They wouldn't understand genetics, so instead of providing a detailed account, they just said it contained 2 of every animal, which was certainly true.

As Von Karman said 'When you are talking to technically illiterate people, you must resort to the plausible falsehood, instead of the difficult truth.'
