I want to do the same thing, i've been meaning to do it for a while but i've been too lazy to ask. I came up with my name in a hurry and now i'm
sick of it. Dingleberry sounds like a git.

As far as I understand, the way you change your username is, you don't.
Usernames are given at the birth of the user account, given to you by you, and requires much forthought.
You would really have to be in tight with someone to get the username changed, but then everyone else should have that right too.
You don't.

They should have a world ATS change your name day, only once a year.
I know there are a lot of people who would like to change their names.

Oh, you guys are cracking me up! Especially Dingleberry and Incarnated. I'd love to drop the "D" from my alias but don't think we're allowed to
do so. Like DB, I made it in a hurry back when I never planned on sticking around- made the account just to make one post and never intended to
return. Thanks, addiction!

This question has been asked before, many times, and the answer is always no.
But I don't see why it shouldn't be allowed. A field underneath the avatar could show the person's 'old' name. For example it could show their
username to be Alpha aka Bravo.

No, i'm not new to the internet. I just make decisions on a whim. I'm a fly by the seat of your pants kinda guy. That's why i chose dingleberry in
four seconds and now every time i post it looks like a 30 year old man with a childish and totally confusing name is posting about the NWO.

I'm not new to the internet but never really got into the whole forum thing, IMing, netspeak, website 'families,' etc. Considered it a waste of
time and something 'nerds' did. But like DB said...
...I'm on this bloody thing every day. Dam you ATS. DAMMMMM YOOOOOOOUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!
Thanks to ATS I'm a net-nerd convert.

I know on most internet boards it is possible for a moderator or administrator to change usernames.
I'm sure a mod or an admin could change it, it's just a matter of if they are willing to change it. I'm sure they have some sort of rule against
it.
i would recommend u2u'ing one of the three amigos

Maybe and here's just an idea, but like most my ideas it's awesome.
Maybe if it were the case a User name change could be something bought with ATS points through the store.
I think that would be a well way of handling it if it will be alowed at all.
However I think the user name change should cost like 10-25 thousand points so it is not made a habbit.

You can't change it unless you have about 1,000,000 ATS points and are willing to serve in the ATS militia for six months. It's not worth it in my
opinion.

ATS Militia huh???
I would imagine the "friendly" fire rate (read intentional accidents) must be horrendous.

Name changes are not done here and no Its not a simple click of a button to do so. because fo the size of the data base etc, it woul dinvolve an
unrealistic amount of effort to acomplish.
I fail to see whats wrong with your name?
