Was this Fireball US spy Satellite?

``At 6:30 this morning while commuting from East Helena, a large green meteor streaked down and appeared to hit the Earth beyond the near mountains to the west,'' said Matthew Weber in a morning email. ``There was a large orange flash that lit up the horizon and many people driving westward observed it.''

Observers said it resembled lightning, a rocket, a satellite or an exploding transformer.

Is it possible our satellite was already shot down this morning?
