It has nothing to do with pointing fingers... it simply a FACT. I don't see ANY OTHER country invading another country across the world as much as US has! Do you? Yet US is the ONLY country in Afghanistan, Iraq, China, Saudi, Korea, Cuba and now threating Iran... building an army base, prisons, threatening other ethnic lives by destroying their homes, children, stealing their OIL in the name of "freedom"??

I have a friend in the US Army, he tells me pretty much EVERYDAY all they do is patrol OIL tanks from Iraq to US Military planes! They got shot at by these so called terrorists, trying to stop US from stealing their oil.

Let's talk about the history, or do you really want to! America does NOT have a pretty past, in fact what is happening today is what was happening in the past, the past is repeating itself. US in nature is a violent country, I'm not talking about just the government, but they breed this "fear/hate" with the public to use them to their own advantages, to support government to start wars, to fund them. Probably explains why US has the highest number of civilian deaths by 80% compared to #2 country. The entire country is being used and abused by this unconstitutional acts, paying Income tax, did you know that is illegal and if you don't pay your taxes you end up in jail. Only country with no medical care, one of the most underfunded education system. Educate yourself, heres a link might shed some light on the past war histories.

It's not about being "patriotic" it is about being "PRO LIFE" helping the world to become more peaceful is much different then invading another country in the name of so called "freedom". The amount of money US invested in War just with in the last year, they could have fed every single homeless person in the entire world for years.

Don't you see , you're being used by your own government in the name of being patriotic. You think you're actually standing up for your government, yet you refuse to question the people running your government. Guess some of us like having a blanket over our heads so we could just live our lives, pay our bills, watch tv and stay nice and safe at home not knowing the TRUE reality of what really is happening.

I also noticed that this film was playing in some Canadian cities...This is a worthwhile film to watch. I managed to download this film and then I sent the link to another forum and when those members began to watch it, the film disappeared...My guess is that this is a film that would cause the government to have some kind of influence over the Discovery channel. This film would cause the masses to sit up and take notice. I have burned some DVD's of this film and have started to pass it around. This is a film that should be part of history and should be part of all teaching curriculum, however I think that the powers that be will not allow this to be taught in schools.

heres' the problem.. I completely agree that too much money is being wasted. I am not a fan of war and I definitly don't whorle heartetly (sp?) agree of trust my government not by far... but lets get something straight.. I'm going to stick with my country and government.. I'm not going to go and join another one. Yes education sucks I say it all the time.. ppl are being corrupted and ppl are being brainwased... it's completely obvious when they spend 48 hours talking about paris hilton and brittney spears the whores of america on the news...Our National freakin news.. is it a ploy to get ppl away from whats really going on in the world?? OFCOARSE!!!!!... But I believe in the Christian Apocalypse and believe everything must come to pass... It says ppl will diminish themselves from their lack of knowledge.. real knowledge we are failing to seek the truth.. but by me supporting our troops that in many ways defend what is left of my rights I am not being ignorant or blissfully patriotic I am being loyal because that is all I have to offer.. It's your last statement that I have a problem with, I believe 911 was an inside job, based on all the evidence I've seen without a doubt. I mean MANY evidence. Regarding religions, I have nothing against anyone's religion, but personally I believe religions are all MAN written and is being used to as a fear tool to take sides and break people apart. All it's positive aspects of it, is commen sense. It has nothing to do with spirituality. You can be spiritual and not be religious.

Again I'm not saying America is bad... I'm saying the people running are bad. and People like you that love your country NEED to stand up for your land and freedom. It's not about loving your country, that's granted, but it's about support ALL LIVES (pro-life) around our planet. Don't you see... we're all ONE! Yes I did and I do not know how I did because I had already read on this ATS thread that it was pulled from the internet. As soon as I saw I was able to watch it I downloaded it. For some reason I was able to download it all except the first few minutes of the film. I have burned a few copies and have been passing them around to friends and family.
This is a documentary that needs to be seen by the masses.

Hey, just saw that HBO has now aquired the rights to "taxi to the dark side" and will air it uncut in September.

Also the article says that the discovery channel will retain basic cable rights and will air it next year.

I managed to watch it before the google vid got pulled. It was very good and I think everyone should see, pity it will be a while before it airs here, and then only on cable. Hopefully it will pop up again before long.

Why in the heck are they going to wait that long? Oh I see, they're going to start advertising it to death and build up the anticipation? Grrr.

Ok. I learned my lesson with this one. Next time we find something like this film, we need to go about it differently. I was so thrilled just to find it, I didn't think that the attention would cause it to get pulled- and still not sure we had anything to do with it. What's a few hundred views or so?

I kinda think that they are waiting just because it is an election year and they don't want to catch flak for trying to influence the election in any way. As you can see HBO is airing it in September so they are totally cashing in on that fact, sorta like Fahrenheit 9/11 and the 2004 election. John McCain is featured pretty prominently as a good guy in this film mind you.

I think that Discovery may have shelved it for a longer time, but since HBO is airing it, they don't have to worry about being the first and catch flack for it. So they will wait until HBO airs it, gauge the reaction and then maybe air it themselves.

Everyone is trying to save face and no one wants to be the one to speak out. Kinda sad if you ask me. I think that films like this should be available in more ways than just waiting till it airs on tv... I'm glad it will air, but I wish I could send the link or a dvd to more people to watch it. I'm glad I managed to catch it myself. To all those who didn't get to see it, it'll come.

I also don't think there is any way you could have prevented this getting taken down unfortunately, two big cable networks now own the rights so the copyright police are all over it now.

I'm having a real hard time wrapping my mind around the culture of detainee abuse...

I just got through watching

MKULTRA Perpetrators (#11) (a)

over at you tube and it dawned on me that TPB wouldn't hesitate to use these technologies on their own troops and probably already have it mounted on Humvees.

The Discovery video showed many mind control techniques already used on detainees, why not add the troops to the mix?

Wow, what great awards! This film had that much exposure? I go to eat at a place all the time that sits in front of a major theater with a huge marquee. I have never seen the title to that movie show up, and I always look at it. Anyone see this film playing in their area at major theaters? I mean heck, just the title alone is enough to make any self respecting conspiracy theorist take notice.
