That article is bunk. First off the source is from atheists which says a lot.

Spiritual practice no matter what it is (prayer, meditation, dancing, drumming) provides the person with an intimate connect with the divine.

Do not tell me this isn't true. Try it yourself.

You don't need to believe in a higher power to reach altered states.

This world isn't bad.

People do evil. God doesn't do evil.

I don't believe in religion, but that is besides the point.

I don't pray to some guy in the sky. My God is personal. A part of me, a part of nature, a part of you as well. Everything is God.

To say that prayer doesn't do anything is ridiculous and unfounded.

To the nonbeliever there is never enough proof and to the believer there is adequate.

I will not change your mind, nor will any others. You must do it for yourself.

I don't believe in church either, but does that mean I don't believe in a higher power?

You simply do not know there's something greater or nothing.

There is no proof for either side.

It is all in the eye of the beholder.

You cannot show me there is no higher power and I cannot prove to you there is.

Simple as that.

tru tru i believ in a way we each have a god but y do ppl call it god cant we call it something else god is made out to be something bad in a way i rekon we have the ability to do alot if we get intouch with our mind and make things happen

Don't call it God I could really care less what you call it.

"God" is an easy way for the masses to understand when I talk about my higher power.

God implies a male gender anyway which I don't believe to be true.

But to doubt the existence of something greater is denying one's own reality.

its something we all dont know @ the end of the day we can just think we cant say this or that but we are all confused humans we are just like the rest of the animals we just think we are more advanced then anything lol
