That picture isn't right. I read earlier somewhere that that was a "UFO crash and explode in Russia." Maybe it was that site. I guess I should click it.

Its alright, this is a big topic IMHO, because Russias does have alot of natural gas, and it seems to be that their infrastructure isnt capable of controlling it all. I mean, im not crtitiscizing them or anything , but even for the US, thats alot of natural gas to have, dangerous amounts.

Is it safe, to harbor all that?

I dont know anything about this topic, but since it happend, i assume in the same area, twice, questions have to be raised.

Dude, that looks like a potential nuclear detonation. Perhaps a test?

Looks like a laser beam coming down, zapping the ground.

Maybe it's swamp gas?

Not really I bet it is a oilfield fire or something like it.

Yeah uh well.....it came from a reputable news source (IMO) and didnt directly come from GLP, so back off if your not going to say anything productive.

What if this was an important event? What if there is more than meets the eye? Surely your not denying ignorance if you keep on playing the downer on this thread ; the OP thought it was important, brought it to our attention, and now i think its an important event.

To The OP, thanks for the more pics, gives a clearer view of whats happening. Just might be a fire, is all. But juding from those pics, the explosion must've been pretty big...
