This could turn into a huge story. Who stole the findings?
Was it joe schmoes that want to make some cash and sell their secrets? Is it a foreign government that needs all the oil info it can get it's hands on as it's dollar is no longer traded by many exporting countries (US)? Or is it a local neighbor that is trying to build up its military power and align with the Middle East countries no longer dealing with the US dollar (Venezuela)?
Keep an eye on this one.

Smells like industrial espionage.

They've got the data backed up and they control the reserve, right?

I suppose when someone puts up a rig just over the border of their reserve they'll have a suspect, no?

How do you pick a side to root for when they're fighting over oil rights?

Well, whoever wins, it's a lead pipe cinch who's gonna lose in the end...

The environment and the consumers.

Of course they may have "lost" it because they may not have ever had it.
