Does anybody know how to dig up the archives of our old posts now that the posts feature is gone?

Would there be a way to use a search engine like google or something?

There must be some computer experts around here that know a way!

The closest thing I can think of is to use Google in the following manner:

Novise site:abovetopsecret.com

You can refine it by entering the thread in question with quotation marks like so:

"Surviving the Titanic tragedy" Novise site:abovetopsecret.com

Or you can simply go that thread, find one of your posts and click on the button that says 'thread' right below the post. This only works if the thread is at least two pages long (I think... doesn't work if it's a single page).

Using the site specific search on Google is probably your best option.

The more recent way to view your posts through myProfile might be gone, but the old one isn't.

it requires a little address bar mucking around, but here it is
old method

Just to use it, replace my username with yours. Oh, and guess how old the post was, and what page it was on.

Type this address in:

http:// www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/authors/member name here.html

but without the spaces, it works just as good. So here's what mine would look like (used spaces so the whole address shows) :

http:// www .abovetopsecret.com/forum/authors/acesinthehole.html

edit: whoops thats for threads only :bnghd:

You click MemCenter on the top next to U2U and recent posts; and then Manage Subscriptions on the left side.

You'll see all the threads you've participated in. It works for me. I use it from time to time to check to see if people reply to my posts.
